A really nice small Hotel with super daily breakfast

What I liked:
Breakfast (has to be booked additionally for 10€ but it’s worth it)
Cleanness
the room size
the mattress (never slept so well in a hotel)
Friendly stuff
responded fast for my prior requests
flexible with individual wishes
What I would change, but doesn’t minimize the amazing stay:
Remove the carpet out of the room
To lock the front door was first a little bit strange
Bigger parking slot, if all 10 rooms will come with each car, there is no space
What I missed:
a Gym, but on the Island there was a perfect Bodyweight Training Spot

Not what it looks like at a first glance

We booked Superior King Room, breakfast included. This was Room No. 3. Other visitors should be aware that they would enter the room right from the lobby/reception and the small passage to the common use toilet of the restaurant. Room 3 was spacious and clean at a first glance, but with spider webs at the ceiling near the air conditioner and black mould on the tiles around the drain in the shower. The room door is very thin and with the gap under it, allowing in the music from the restaurant and the noises from the reception area. When checking in, we were informed that the restaurant would close and the reception would end their day at 22.00. However, this was exactly the time when the receptionist started vacuuming the entire reception area while talking on her cell phone loudly, the music still playing. We opened the door to see and ask what was going on there, and the response was "Is this disturbing to you? Really? The quite hours start at 23.00." in a very snappy tone and manner. The receptionist turned off the music, but continued vacuuming for a good half an hour, and then started either counting coins or sorting something similar and tidying the reception workplace. The noises continued until about 23.30.
There room has a very strange inside window from the bed to the bathroom.
After the "quiet hours", which may be loudly interrupted by large timber trucks and other traffic passing by right outside the room windows, the music was switched on again at 6.55.
The breakfast was a very unpleasant experience. The waiter brought cold scrambled egg with sausages, two small tomatoes, and a couple of rashers. When we asked why the egg was cold, the girl explained that the cook usually prepares it the previous day so that there is not so much hassle in the morning, and she just microwaves it in the morning. Apparently I did not microwave it enough, she said. The coffee from the coffee machine was a watery, light brown fluid, and the meats offered as part of the small breakfast buffet smelled somewhat strange.
My strong advice for anyone staying at this hotel is to avoid any of the rooms on the ground floor and consider having breakfast somewhere else.

The newest hotel in the city

Very modern and contemporary hotel! A building with history, which has become a beautiful hotel near Alūksne Bānītis station. I definitely recommend going to this hotel. The Jolanta Hotel has a sauna and swimming pool nearby. Kids will definitely enjoy it. The building is beautifully decorated during Christmas.
