For sure the best experience we have ever had
I can say without question this is the best hotel experience my wife and I have ever had anywhere in the world. For us traveling is about meeting people making connections most important enjoying the local culture. The rooms are nice nothing fancy but that is not what is best about this hotel!! I can without hesitation owners Angela and Francesco are some of the nices most engaging people we have ever met anywhere forget hotel owners anywhere. The food was amazing as was the cooking class Angela gave us. You should eat dinner at the hotel for sure. Though the do not speak English Google translater worked for both of us and we had great converstations. The local history (there are many sites within 1 hour driving is definitely worth traveling around.

Beautiful place but lacking professionalism.
A very beautiful house.
A very comfortable room.
An excellent breakfast.
But despite everything, we were disappointed by this establishment.
Indeed, we booked a room that same morning and specified the arrival time at 6 PM as requested by the owners.
We arrived on time in front of the establishment, but no one was there to welcome us; we waited 30 minutes. Fortunately, we had one phone number, but it was difficult to communicate because we do not speak Italian and the hosts do not speak English.
They seemed surprised by our arrival because they had not noted the time mentioned in the email.
They finally arrived after another 15 minutes of waiting, but their nonchalance, which indicates a lack of professionalism, surprised us greatly.
This couple is charming but should be more respectful of the customer in the event of a problem like this.
No commercial gesture was made.
It is unfortunate because we maintain a negative image of this accommodation.
A piece of advice for future guests: call before arriving.
Parking is very difficult in this steep village.

La ringraziamo per aver dedicato del tempo a condividere la Sua esperienza e per le parole di apprezzamento riguardo alla nostra struttura, al comfort della camera e alla qualità della colazione.
Siamo sinceramente dispiaciuti che il Suo soggiorno sia stato condizionato dalle difficoltà riscontrate al momento dell’arrivo. Comprendiamo perfettamente il disagio causato dall’attesa e ci scusiamo per l’inconveniente. Purtroppo, a causa di un problema organizzativo nella gestione delle comunicazioni ricevute lo stesso giorno della prenotazione, non abbiamo visualizzato tempestivamente l’orario di arrivo da Lei indicato.
Ci rammarica inoltre che la barriera linguistica abbia reso più difficile la comunicazione in un momento in cui avremmo dovuto fornirle assistenza immediata e adeguata. Il nostro intento è sempre quello di accogliere ogni ospite con attenzione e disponibilità, e siamo dispiaciuti di non essere riusciti a trasmettere questa impressione in questa circostanza.
Il Suo commento rappresenta per noi uno stimolo importante per migliorare ulteriormente l’organizzazione delle procedure di check-in e la gestione delle prenotazioni dell’ultimo minuto, affinché situazioni simili non si ripetano.

2 nights in Cuglieri
The place is very nice, quiet, clean and well maintained! Big downside at the Welcoming where you are asked for your ID cards and without offering to sit down, the formalities of the check in last about twenty minutes instead of making photocopies....
Communication is not the strength of this couple who do not speak a word of English and do not seek to understand when you have a question or even a concern ....
Internet does not pass in the rooms, it is a shame....
At breakfast, coffee served for two is not enough (despite its poor quality) and when you ask for more, you are made to wait a long, long time....
The cakes served are industrial....
The woman who takes care of the maintenance of the place and the rooms does not send you any smile back, and watches your actions as soon as you move, it is quite unpleasant and unpleasant!

leggiamo con stupore la sua recensione, che riteniamo poco obiettiva e distante dalla realtà del soggiorno che ha effettivamente vissuto.
Al momento del check-in come facciamo sempre con tutti i nostri ospiti, vi abbiamo accolti con gentilezza e il modo di dirvi accomodatevi e chiedere se possiamo offrirvi un caffè o qualcosa da bere, proposta che avete rifiutato, Le procedure di registrazione sono quelle previste dalla normativa italiana, e cerchiamo sempre di svolgerle nel modo più rapido e cordiale possibile.
Durante tutto il soggiorno siamo stati disponibili a qualsiasi richiesta: ci impegniamo quotidianamente per far sentire gli ospiti a proprio agio, anche quando ci sono barriere linguistiche, e riceviamo spesso apprezzamenti per la nostra accoglienza calorosa.
La colazione non comprende alcun prodotto industriale: i dolci sono fatti in casa o provengono da forni locali, il caffè è preparato con cura e con la tradizionale "moca" e che bisogna attendere qualche minuto, se qualcosa non basta, basta chiedere e mi risulta che avete chiesto ed abbiamo servito. Come sempre, siamo pronti a venire incontro a ogni esigenza.
Per quanto riguarda l’atmosfera, ci teniamo molto a garantire ordine, pulizia e rispetto degli spazi comuni, senza mai essere invadenti. In struttura al di fuori di Angela "gestore" non abbiamo personale delle pulizie
Non ci era mai capitato che un ospite lasciasse la struttura senza una stretta di mano e un saluto: per noi, l’ospitalità è prima di tutto un rapporto umano.
Siamo dispiaciuti se non ha saputo cogliere questo spirito, ma continueremo ad accogliere chi lo sa apprezzare.

Perfect holiday, we had to stay here 3 days and we lengthened another 3 because we could not leave...
Really exceptional.... A place where it is fantastic to stay in absolute peace served and pampered by Angela and Francesco.
We had dinner for 4 consecutive nights and they were one better than the other, Angela’s cuisine is unparalleled, where the tradition and raw materials of the place are enhanced ... absolutely to recommend ...

Borgo Prima Luce is a once-in-a-lifetime experience
When our tour guide suggested we book a cooking class with Angela, and also lodge at her bed and breakfast, Borgo Prima Luce, he promised that the beauty of the experience would make us cry. He did not lie. Borgo Prima Luce was one of the most special and memorable parts of our Sardinian trip.
I whole-heartedly recommend Angela and Francesco! They were welcoming and professional hosts, yet they also engaged us like we were a part of their circle of friends, and inviting us to join them at a barbeque/picnic, we spent a most magical afternoon on their beautiful family farm, feasting from an array of unbelievably sumptuous, fresh seafood and specially made Sardinian dishes. Although we didn't speak Italian (nor they English), with the help of Google translator and a few of the other guests who spoke both Italian and English, we had such a fun time!
Then there's Angela's cooking. Divine! Our breakfasts were like Christmas morning, but better. An array of superb and delicate pastries, followed by a round of savory, handmades dishes. And I haven't even gotten to my cooking class with Angela. Truly inspiring! Practical. Hands-on. Super fun! (Also, I'm so glad I videoed our cooking class, as it has proved to be an excellent reference source).
Borgo Prima Luce is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Beautiful, private, and peaceful, with immaculately clean and charming rooms (as well as a very romantic garden courtyard). But of course, with any place you visit, what truly defines an experience is one that arises from the heart. Angela, Francesco, thank you for making our trip to Sardinia so special!
