Great Villa, Great Food, Great Hosts

We spent several days at the hotel and restaurant La Vecchia Quercia during our recent trip to Italy... magnificent place! This is a very small hotel (villa) and restaurant in the middle of the beautiful Italian countryside is over the top great. The owner and his wife (the chef) have this a spectacular place. Breakfast and dinner were fabulous, we never had lunch there due to daily road trips. The rooms are super comfortable and totally up to date! Every morning included cappuccinos and eggs/bacon made to order. The several events/meals we had there were amazing... super fresh, made to order, and delicious! They have a fabulous wine list/cellar, some of the best wines in Italy, and very generous with pours! Highly recommend La Vecchia Quercia for a night, a meal, a vacation!

Exceptional.
We stayed a few days in July 2024.
Staff of extreme kindness. Welcoming, tidy and very clean. Surrounded by greenery and tranquility away from the noise of the city.
Ideal x spend a relaxing time.

PERFECT WEEKEND

first time in this hotel. what can I say: everything perfect!!!!! then: recently renovated structure located on the hill and therefore absolutely quiet - very large, clean and welcoming rooms (as well as, obviously, the dining room) - the owner Mr. Paolo is an exquisite person in every sense - the quality of the dishes is excellent!!!! highly recommended. if we ever return to these places, we will definitely return to this hotel

Motorcycle weekend in the Trebbia valley.

I stayed at this property with a group of friends for 4 days. We had a wonderful time... the hotel has been refurbished and is very welcoming and clean. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The kindness and helpfulness of the owner Paolo is the best... not to mention the restaurant's cuisine where his wife prepares Piacenza dishes, taking care of them with passion using quality products.
I absolutely recommend you try!!!

Comfort in the Valnure hills

Visited here on a 3-day trip in September 2017 to research my genealogy in the local area. Found the hotel extremely comfortable, clean, spacious, with each room designed in that elegant modern Italian way. Wide, large windows brings a beautiful light into the rooms. Hotel owner Paolo attends to your every need, and his soul mate Daniele can cook the best of regional cuisine in the hotel's restaurant. Hotel is located on the San Bernardino side of Bettola. Don't miss Bettola's market day on Monday. Wineries up the road towards Vigolzone, and see Grazzano Visconti village, and Castell Arquato.
