We came as three guests and left as friends!

We (3 motorcyclists) arrived at Paola and Maurizio's on a Sunday evening after a long journey and were immediately given a very warm welcome. The very well-kept property is somewhat hidden away on a private road, so it is very quiet. The maritime-style rooms are large enough, with very different floor plans and occupancy options.
The breakfast is sufficient for Italian needs, but we were able to use a small part of the fridge and enjoy a more "German" breakfast. Everything was very uncomplicated. Unfortunately, Paola had to give up cooking for her guests, so we didn't have the opportunity to enjoy her skills.
The two hosts can best be described by the fact that they always try to read your wishes from your eyes, even if you aren't yet aware of them....

Don't miss out on this gem!

It was a bit hard to find, at the end of a road on a hill - but what a find!
It was like a home away from home. The proprietors were welcoming and friendly, the amenities excellent and the room (with our own balcony) left nothing to wish for.
The owners were very helpful with tips on where to go, how to get there and answering any questions we had.
We can really recommend their homecooking!
We ate in twice in three days, and in hindsight really should have done so three times.
We were served three courses and dessert plus wine for a small sum (not included in the roomfare), and the food was easily on par with a michelin-rated restaurant in town.
We can highly recommend Luci del Golfo.
Nice rooms, friendly owners, excellent food, good view and bus/train within walking distance.

La Dolce Vita! Heaven on Earth! Paradise!

Graze mille! Paola & Maurizio Thank you so much dear Paola and Maurizio! Luci Sul Golfo is a magic place in the green hills above La Spezia nearby the little town Arcola. This place is like a fairy tale, meraviglioso! The surrounding nature, the swimming pool, horse Vicky , the peacock from the neighbor who is coming by some time. And the so lovely and caring owners Papa & Maurizio. Papa makes every morning a very lovely Breakfast with homemade cookies. If you like she also prepares a dinner / 3 course . My husband and I sitting on the terrace with the lights of LA Spezia at the horizon, it is Heaven on Earth. So romantic! And on top the delicious dinner made by Paola!She makes soul food, everything hand made. she is on of the best cooks in the whole area! And the most lovely and most warm hearted persons I know! From Luci Sul Golfo we had only 15 minuets Drive to the wonderful beach of Fijumaretta. And Luci sul Golfo is also a good place for doing some day trips to Pisa (65 km) oder to the Cinque Terre. We love this pace, it is already our second visit at Luci. And we will return next year! Thank you Maurizio (We love his great sense of humor!) and Paolo ! Tanja & Christian

Outstanding

This B&B is about 10min drive from center La Spezia. Quiet location, free parking, simple but very clean rooms. We had 2 rooms with shared bathroom. Room was hot at night but we got a ventilator. Good location to visit Cinque Terre - very busy in July/Aug - however finding parking places is hard and expensive.
However the best is the hospitality of Paola and Maurizio. Paola prepared each morning a fantastic breakfast and cooked a good dinner. Excellent service and very friendly. I strongly recommend this place.

THE PLACE TO BE! SIMONA & ALESSANDRO

Thi splace is a real Gem! My partner and I felt home as soon as we put our foot in.
The hosts, Paola and Maurizio, are amazingly welcoming and caring, always ready to give you crucial tips about anything you need.
The location is as lovely as strategic to move around.
The homemade food is beyond delicious, Paola is such a great chef..
Well..I can't recommend LUCI SUL GOLFO Highly enough! BRAVO
