Good Experience

I had a great experience with the room interiors, which were well-designed despite being a bit compact. The service was also top-notch, and the food was delicious!

Disappointed with the refund experience.

Disappointed with the refund experience.
We booked the hotel well in advance and were assured by the staff at the time of booking that a full refund would be given if canceled two months prior. Based on that verbal assurance, we moved forward. However, after canceling more than 7 months in advance, we were denied any refund due to a clause in the voucher we weren’t informed about properly. The staff who gave the verbal assurance had left, and the current team refused to honor the commitment. Very unprofessional handling of a genuine case. Not expected from a reputed hotel.

The room was clean. The fairy lights in the restaurant area were pretty. Shout out to Gopal who was super smiley and friendly. Breakfast included - we had Aloo paratha, jam toast and coffee. Bit of a distance from attractions but no problem as the area is quiet.

Avoid this hotel

Far away from the city where there is nothing at all. Pathetic hotel & horrible staff. Absolute cheaters. One of the guys said that our room has been upgraded without cost and Breakfast and Dinner are free. When we went there to eat dinner there in the evening he said that he made a mistake and asked us to pay for food. Looks like a cheating tactic to make us eat at their restaurant. Even after calling the manager, the issue was not solved and he didn't even apologize for the mistake saying that it's a silly mistake. Never ever go there.

Balam - falls just short of expectations.

Hotel Balam is located in Shikargarh area of beautiful blue city of Jodhpur. The hotel has traditional exteriors. I was here for a business trip and let’s be upfront they don’t serve very good breakfast. The restaurant food is above average and slightly over priced for the quality and portions they provide. Housekeeping does an average job and at times skipping to replace bare minimums like towels, toilet rolls and even water bottles. A lot of improvements can be made as far as service is considered. And yeah they are a young team, I wish them all the best.
