Best you get here

It is a friendly home stay near a small pond very close to the places of interest.
The food was very good despite lack of staff due to diwali festival.
Rooms are small but clean. There is an attached balcony with the rooms.
Service was slow. May be due to Diwali.
Value for money.
There are not many better options around.

Not recommended for holiday vacation !!

It is just a guest-house stay type of hotel and stay only if you want to visit Narmada temple. Don't plan holiday vacation. Meal is just below average and staff is totally inexperience. You will be quite upset like me.

Not recommended for families.

Will not recommend this to a family.Not properly maintained.Not sure if it is because they have shortage of staff but a poorly maintained place.
Service is very slow. There is a nearby pond and bcoz of which,lot of mosquitoes are there.If u keep ur doors or windows open after 6pm these honeybee size mosquitoes will kill u.We realized this on time so we closed doors and windows before 6.The only good thing about this place is that it is close to almost all the places of interest.We landed up here bcoz we did not get booking to some good resorts.And then all we wanted was something which is close to attractions here.I gave rating as 3 just bcoz of its close proximity to various places of interest.

Awesome Stay at The Residency

The Residency is a good hotel / Home Stay. It has almost all the modern facilities like Tea/Coffee Maker, Daikin A/C, nice view of the balcony with all greenery around. One of the rooms also had a Mini Refrigerator(Room 201). Room 201 and 202 is recommended for family purpose as it has a nice connecting door between them (although it can be locked from both sides separately). The hotelier had a very warm and nice behavior. The car parking is just outside the hotel premises on the road itself but we didn't face any problem. One major problem we faced is the POWERCUT for about 3 hours as we checked in. There is no Generator/DG Set in the hotel so none of the appliances were running except one tube light in the room with the INVERTER. The Hotelier said that DG Set will be installed in next month (August 2017). We visited from Raipur by car in July 16-18 , 2017. We got a very good support from Goibibo during some issues regarding Power Supply. Thank you Goibibo for support.

GOOD PLACE TO STAY

It's a really good place to stay in Amarkantak. The staff is very helpful and accommodating. Food is tasty and is just like home cooked food. The hotel is situated quite close Narmada Temple , bathing kund and also all other sight-seeing places. The rooms are vlean with clean linen, tea maker is provided in the room. It is slightly over priced but still I recommend it for stay while in Amarkantak. Try to take room with balcony.
