Dreamy stop over

Wow, this place is a wonderland. The service smiles and food and drink is amazing. Every choclate drink you can think of amazing coffee and just the most beautiful place to sit and stare out the window. The fire place is warming and just everything about the place is wonderful. The chalets are so nice and cozy and just well looked after with Anita the owner making sure your stay and anything you need is there and ready for your relaxing stay or stop over and her staff are also as amazing.

Excellent stay, friendly owner and cafe staff.

We stayed in the refurbished Myrtle cottage; and it was just perfect. Spotlessly clean, functional, and comfortable. Excellent Wi-fi in the room.
We asked for an extra dish to heat up some food we'd got with us, and the owner Anita was so friendly and helpful that she brought it over.
The cafe is warm and welcoming with a decent list of items on offer; we had breakfast there a few times. They will also provide dinner that you can heat up in your room after a long day's walk in Cradle Mountain.
Cradle Mountain Visitor Centre is about a 20 min drive away.. and this accommodation was perfect for doing many walks in the Cradle Mountain area
We'd definitely stay here again on our next visit.

Friendly and comfortable place to stay

Our second visit and the new owners exceeded our expectations. The room was warm, clean and bed comfortable. We discovered the cafe quietly showcases exceptional local products. Shared experiences of the day with other guests when collecting ordered dinner.

Highly Recommend

Stayed 2 nights so that we could spend a day in Cradle Mountain. Visitors Centre is only a 20 min drive away.
Clean, comfortable, plenty of space. Easy access.
Will and Tamika were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend even if a little dated.

Try somewhere else first

Booked a non smokers room and it stunk to high heaven of cigarette smoke. It Absolutely stunk. I felt sick all night. The cigarette butt cup by the front door wasn’t exactly welcoming either.
While I love animals, being barked at by two dogs, is not my idea of a friendly greeting.
It’s a 20 minute drive to Cradle Mt from the accommodation so plan your trip around that.
The managers of the property were friendly.
Plenty of room to move about the cabin.
Old and dated interior but functional.
