Memorable stay, hope to return very soon!

A great stay at Ibis Melbourne Central for 3 nights. The location is unbeatable, close to transport and a wide range of eateries. Staff were warm and welcoming, thanks Carter at Concierge.
The Queen room was compact yet cleverly designed with all facilities and thoughtful amenities that made it feel very comfortable. The Bed was exceptionally cosy, and bedside lighting was easy to access, enhancing overall convenience.
A wonderful place to stay and I look forward to my return.

The actual room was a good size for the price and location. However, there were !cockroaches! in my room. After coming back from dinner on the first night of my reservation, there were all over the sink vanity and climbing up the walls. After calling the reception, who did not pick up, I went down to speak to the night attendant (approx 11:40pm). I showed him my video, he apologised and asked for the video I took for his manager. The attendant said ‘oh it happens’ and ‘thankfully it’s not bedbugs’. He said they would sort it out (get an exterminator) and the room won’t be rented for 7 days or so. He said he would ‘upgrade me’ and move me to another floor. Unfortunately, it was the same room, just on a different floor. Honestly, I’m not sure how a cleaner would not have seen them earlier, as I counted 15 or so. Very disappointing!

I booked wrong date, and need help to change the reservation date because i input the wrong month.
The hotel cust servis doesn't care and ignore my request, even I already said its fine if there is any fee ?

Great Location and Price

First off you cannot beat the position, right in the heart of town, short walk to VIC Market, trams a stones throw away, shopping and restaurants/cafes on your doorstep.
I had a compact room, yes it is compact and I perfectly was aware when booking. It’s great for 1/2 people, afterall it’s Melbourne, so much to do you’re hardly in your room and this was a 1 night stay.
Next week I have 3 nights and I’ve booked the bigger room.
The hotel is very clean as I find with the Ibis brand and super cheap, the bed was very comfy. I was on the 16th floor, no issues with long waits for an elevator.
Check in and out was incredibly fast! No paperwork to fill out, all online, well done.
I recommend this hotel, but if you want space pay the little bit extra for the superior room, you can’t book compact and then expect it to be huge and complain.
I didn’t try the bar and restaurant but will on my stay next week.

Great place for business travellers or those that will spend minimal time in the room and or at the hotel. Room was clean but small, place is new, shower was hot, price was attractive. Perfectly hit my brief!
