I recommend it. Comfortable room with the essentials, clean and nice hotel overall. Complete breakfast.

The logistics for pregnant woman is not good

The first impression and that is, good as soon as we arrived, sooner than the time allowed to enter the room, the first receptionist who served us at 13hrs was quite sharp, already said that the room was ready but could not enter before, already charged the tourist fee of 1 dollar per day, and basically sent us to go for a walk because we could not go to the room....we were tired, many hours of flight and connection....when we returned at 15h was another receptionist much more sought after and polite with us, but about the room, I am pregnant of 5 months and the space between the sink and the box and small, tight pass to take a bath, Horrible and there is no possibility to change room. The halllight inside the room burned and nobody got the way. Air conditioning and general? Because we couldn't adjust, it was too cold. And not to mention the lack of accessible cell phone sockets, so I had a socket in the chao, in the bathroom and a freezer delay. The view from the horrible window, facing a terrible work, zero privacy, and the curtain that says blackout with several apparently cigarette holes. About the cleaning of the room when I requested so arranged the bed, and took out the garbage, the towels did not change had one that I subjected to liquid base without wanting and she continued la the whole stay, and also did not sweep because we arrived and still had farelo from the cloth we ate, and bread holder tbm was still. I'm not lucky on this stay. I'm not very demanding, but these details are absurd. We paid expensive for the trip and we received a much lower service. Taking these details, the hotel has excellent location between the old and the new city, we made all the road map on foot, very close to everything. The view from the reception of the hotel pra orla and beautiful too, the breakfast coffee also excellent, I think it was the first stay that offered varied fruits. Pregnant I liked quite to keep the diet.

Getaway to Montevideo with Buquebus.

Excellent stay in Montevideo; the hotel is a bit far but has a spectacular view of the river, spacious areas; we had a great time and preferred to have a light dinner in the bar, and in the morning we had a very varied and abundant breakfast.

They've fallen a lot! From the attention to the public, like the rooms

The hotel has gone into a tailspin. From a while to this part the attention of the staff has fallen markedly ; not having a restaurant does not make it a desirable option for those who travel to Montevideo for work issues; since in the afternoon when you come tired you do not want to leave the hotel we have. However as they do not have a restaurant as before we must go outside to look for options. Now we start going to the Ibis Hotel. The service is good ; but if you have services by which we return and we will continue to do so. I had to say it and I said it. Those in reception leave a lot to be desired; the attention is mediocre and each time we go they leave us a bitter taste. We have been a client of both my partner and I for years; and the last time we were there we said it was the last...

Excellent Human Team.

I've been staying at Columbia for years and I've never had the opportunity to write a review before.
I think it is fair to highlight after this time, the availability of the hotel staff in any of its Departments.
One aspect I like the most is its constant commitment to upgrades and modernize the hotel.
I feel at home at Columbia.
Montevideo is better because I stay there!
I travel all the time for work and would never stop recommending the NH chain.
Thanks for your Columbia deal.
