CLEAN PLACE AND FRIENDLY STAFF
It was really good experience. We stay only 1 night but i wish we can stay more. The staff Victoria was really helpful and friendly and she knows a bit Turkish. Also she can speak good English. Everywhere is clean. Good building, good bunkbeds and good staff. What else can you ask for from a hostel? Thank you for your hospitality.

Administrators are stealing money from guests, and the manager doesn't care...
Administrators are stealing money from guests, and the manager doesn't care... I stayed here few nights and eventually decided to go to another hostel.
For the first 4 nights, my daily price was constant with a bit of discount. On the 5th night, Nastya the new administrator came. The price was increased by 50 UAH, she said. Even though I had a discount earlier, Nastya increased the price to 260 UAH. That was even higher than the official hostel's price. Due to market conditions, the price increased, she said (though there was no overbooking or significant booking increase). Also I found later that prices of the hostel are constant at that period of time and nobody changed them "due to market conditions".
Than I gave my bank card to Nastya. She was disappointed and asked me to pay cash. She explained, administrators need cash to pay for delivery of hostel inventory (like toilet paper etc). Later I found that it is merely not true.
All of that was weird to me and I decided to pay for the booking on the next day. The next morning, I asked the administrator to talk to the manager. We agreed, that I leave my phone number and the manager will call me back.
Eventually nobody called me. In the evening, I asked the administrator to talk to the manager again. "The manager is busy" to talk to me, the administrator responded.
For me it is obvious that administrators are committing fraud and stealing money from guests. They take advantage of those who stay only for couple or few days, because short term guests are not aware of the whole process. While amount of money is not huge, it is absolutely not acceptable that: 1) guests suffer from that theft; 2) the manager tolerates the fraud. Following the same process, next time the administrator will steal guest's valuable belongings and the manager will tolerate it.

My best stay in Kiev
What to say...There is in this place all what you wish about Hostel. Thanks to professionnalism of Maria, Oxana. The Hostel is well located, in original place. You will meet people of Ukraine,people from everywhere. Enjoy this place for cheap prices. Impatient to be here again !...

You get what you pay for（下に日本語あります）
In general the place is very cheap and guarantees a safe night’s stay with your usual guest house bunk beds, but don’t expect too much. The shower rooms need more cleaning and one of the sinks serve ‘white’ water (what???). The staff are helpful, but are otherwise doing their own thing; however they speak English so that was a big help for me. You can leave your luggage in the storage room, but bring a wire-lock in case of theft since the place isn’t locked and is directly connected to the kitchen lobby. Not the best location either, but still, you get what you pay for. Would recommend if you’re mindful about your budgets and service/cleanliness comes second on the list.
お値段通りです。キエフに格安で泊まりたい方にはお勧めしますが、期待はしないほうが良いでしょう。シャワールームの掃除が行き届いておらず、また一部のシンクから出る水が白く濁っていたため衛生面が心配になりました。スタッフさんは親切とまでは言えなくとも、何か要望があればちゃんと答えてくれます。荷物はストレジールームに預けることができますが、鍵がかかっておらずキッチンに直通なため、防犯対策はしっかりしておいた方が良いでしょう。

Good service but...
When I came to the hostel the staff welcomed me very friendly and showed me around. When I entered my room I told them, that I can't sleep there. It was just too stinky. I was waiting for around one hour and they tried to find a solution. I got a single room for the first night without extra charge and the second night I paid the difference. It was a good solution for all of us. The location is very central but I still didn't like it because you have to walk a little bit to be close to the action.
