Amazing place, with an even more amazing host!

Amazing bungalows, spacious, clean and good location away from the busy strip but still close enough to walk. Owner is super friendly and lovely. Would recommend staying here, good base for a few longs days rather than just a short stopover

Friendly staff!!

The people who run this hostel are nuts but so so friendly! The guy is a bit crazy and the grandad does workouts in the driveway but had such a lovely stay here we kept extending! A great little stay and really well located! Would definitely stay here again

Happy Bungalow

Pretty average place. Advertised as air conditioning but when we got there she wanted 2000 Tbh extra for air con. Id go with somewhere air conditioned as this place is a sauna at night time. They do have scooters for hire at a reasonable 200 Tbh per day . Id suggest taking photos on pick up or a video as they hold your passport for collateral.

Would book again

:)
10 minute walk from pier
- close to bars and restaurants but quite at night
- no mosquitoes in the room
- comfy bed
- fan kept to room cool
- free tea and coffee
- friendly staff
- good wifi

- didn’t offer to clean our rooms or give us fresh towels (stayed 5 nights)
- no natural bright light, dull bungalows

You get what you pay for

We needed cheap accommodation as we'd returned to the island to do more scuba diving. Our room had a really bad smell and when we mentioned it to staff they sprayed the room with an orange scent which made it even worse. It smelt like raw sewage :(
The bed was comfortable which is all I cared about. We had to deal with lots of power cuts but I heard a lot of the island was having the same issue. Not happy to find someones hair between the sheets and on the floor of the bathroom. A better cleaner is needed.
