Avoid - pay extra to stay somewhere you can sleep
Stayed here one night and that was too much. I have travelled SEA for 3 months and this was my least favourite accommodation.
The room was in need of maintenance. There was a big Hello Kitty sticker on the wall - presumably to cover marks. The bathroom was dirty and full of dead bugs. The air conditioning kept going on and off. The bed clothes were not clean. There were geckos in the room overnight. I asked the male receptionist to help me get the insects out of my room but he told me to sleep with them in the room. He was rude and unhelpful and possibly drunk. Walls are super thin and I could hear next door screaming and vomiting all night - no respect for others but also the walls should prevent this.
Location is down a dark long road which I would not feel comfortable doing as a solo traveller.
Overall, grateful it was not expensive as I didn’t sleep the night.

Quiet area
It was a cute little cabin in a quiet area and friendly staff! Unfortunately the power went off at least 10-15 times while we were there which shut off the a/c and wifi everytime and had to restart. It’s a very basic room for the price. We stayed at some much nicer locations in Khao Sok for the same price.

"Unwelcome: A Poor Experience in Khao Sok"
Clean rooms, though there’s no housekeeping during your stay—not even water or toilet paper top-ups. The bathroom sink leaked, splashing waste water onto the floor and my legs, which was unpleasant. Hot water was unreliable, and the flickering lights in the room added to the discomfort.
The AC was problematic, with only two extreme settings: freezing or off. Despite raising this issue repeatedly, the hosts assured me they’d look into it but never did. Similarly, it took several days of asking to get a broken kettle replaced.
Noise was another issue. The thin walls meant I could hear the hosts and their friends partying late into the night, which seemed to take precedence over guest comfort. Earplugs are a must if you’re a light sleeper.
I also had a disappointing experience with their laundry service. Despite specifically requesting no dryer use, my clothes came back shrunk. The hosts insisted they followed instructions, but it was clear a mistake had been made. A little honesty would have gone a long way.
Overall, I didn’t feel welcomed. The atmosphere felt more like the hosts were running a space for their friends rather than prioritising guest hospitality.

Worst night of our lives
We booked the tour of the national park through this hotel. There were no pictures or similar so already there we should have wondered a little.
When we came out on the water the tour was absolutely wonderful so beautiful nature and so nice. The horror began at night.
It started when we saw lots of ants full of bed and some kind of poop (would turn out to be cockroach poop) so we then had to change bungalow to one with only one ant in bed. At night we saw a cockroach that we killed. 10 minutes later we shone the flashlight again and there were 5 people crawling in bed and all the more on the floor. There and then we panicked because we couldn’t get out of there when we were out in the middle of nowhere. We then switched back to the other bungalow and thought that ants were better. However, this did not help as the second bungalow was also full of cockroaches. That night, we didn't sleep, we killed cockroaches and waited for morning. Would never do this again. Then in the morning all the poop we brushed off from the bed was replaced with lots of new poop .. we have had cockroaches crawling on us during the night …

To flee !
Planes booked for 3 nights on booking. Most expensive option offered 1300 tb per night.
Old bungalow. Unadjustable air conditioning. Smashed PVC bathroom door
No trunk, no storage for clothes.
After one night, room not made, towels not changed.
Quite far from everything. Scooter or coach required.
No catering on site except breakfast which we did not try.
Anyway, we left after two nights!
Never again
