Below average but not quite poor

My bf and I stayed here whilst visiting phi phi islands. The beds were so uncomfortable and the room was like a sauna the fan was basically pointless being away up high on the wall with not much power to it. We only stated because we had so much luggage and couldn’t face dragging it all down the stairs. I wouldn’t stay here again. The staff were really nice though

The beds have FLEAS

Spent two nights here and they were the worst two nights of my two weeks in Thailand. We stayed in a triple room and all 3 beds had fleas.
To top it off the rooms are mega hot, the room fan does nothing to cool the room, the power kept cutting out causing the fan to stop all together and at one stage all the water cut out so we couldn’t shower or use the sink.
DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOSTEL

Fine.

The room was clean, the beds were fine. No a/c just a fan(was fine for us but it is October...)
Toilet seat was old and looked bad..
The water stream was good, no hot water.
Staff was fine, don't expect really helpful staff.
Overall just fine, stayed there one night.

BEDBUGS

We were travelling as 2 people and were put in a room with 3 single beds, only to put our stuff on the spare bed. We watched a movie and during that time at least 8 bed bugs came from that spare mattress. Would strongly recommend against this place unless you want bedbugs!

Outdated with a view

We stayed at the scenery guesthouse for 2 nights. We chose it because of the price and the price reflected that. The room is severely outdated so be aware of that before booking, the comforter in a very thin worn quilt. Other than first appearances, the stay was fine. The employees were all friendly with us and there was a nice view from the second floor.
It's a short walk away from all of the craziness in Koh Phi Phi, which we appreciated, it was a lot quieter here.
