Exceptional

Top Italian restaurant, luxurious and clean rooms, breathtaking view. Breakfast on the terrace is highly recommended.

Nice hotel lacking professional management

Well, first of all, the hotel is located above Lake Lucerne with an incredibly great view! The breakfast was also very good. The staff is predominantly very friendly and eager to please.
It is supposed to be a boutique (classification we cannot understand) and luxury hotel. That might be justified at first glance, but if you look more closely, it lacks the details: the room was not really clean, glass shards from the previous guest on the balcony, the bed sheet was too small, the breakfast tables were not cleared promptly, and on the first day, despite the nice weather, we were not supposed to have breakfast on the terrace - in our opinion, it lacks professional hotel management.

Room and bathroom below standard..
View is beautiful.
For festival or parties fine.
Spa is much neglected, and messy, not open!
Ratio price of overnight stay far too expensive.

Dream location

Exceptional view; the location alone is worth everything. The Italian restaurant is nothing short of excellent, from the appetizer to the dessert (we highly recommend the tagliolini with truffles). Luxurious rooms and courteous, friendly staff; the quality-price ratio is number one in Lucerne, undoubtedly five stars well deserved.

A great stay at Boutique Hotel Himmelrich!

Very warm and attentive staff, stylish and spotlessly clean rooms and a quiet, relaxed atmosphere with beautiful views. Also perfect for celebrations – everything was coherent down to the last detail. Absolutely recommended, I would love to come back.
