Thank you for your feedback and for taking the time to share your experience at the Hôtel de l’Aigle. We are delighted that you enjoyed our hotel and restaurant, as well as the understated charm of the Val-de-Travers.
Regarding the room rate, we would like to clarify that your stay took place during a period of high demand, which may have affected the price. Furthermore, our hotel, built in 1776, is a protected historic landmark, which entails specific constraints regarding renovation and remodeling. We strive to preserve the historic authenticity of this place while offering modern comforts, even if certain features—such as the size of the bathrooms or the materials used—may reflect the structural limitations of such an old building.
Finally, the scarcity of hotel accommodations in the region may indeed explain the higher rates, but we take your feedback seriously and are committed to improving our guests’ experience.
We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back so you can discover even more of our region’s treasures.

Nice weekend with friends in Welschland
Our room was clean, the bathroom very small, but that is due to the premises in the old walls. The dinner in the restaurant was excellent, the service competent and polite. Breakfast the next morning also left nothing to be desired.
We can recommend the hotel / restaurant.

Lodging in Couvet
The reception was very friendly ... the room large ... simply furnished ... bathroom renovated ... garage for the bikes available but rather small and cramped at about 15 guests with bike.

Charming hotel with restaurant (less valid)
The hotel is very nice, as well as the outdoor space where you can have breakfast or dinner.
Generous and tasty breakfast.
The menu of their restaurant is rather reduced and I did not find the quality of the food, unlike other comments, particularly noteworthy. I would say without praise or infamy.
Only sore and annoying point: the staff's insistence on pushing the customer to order more

Merci pour votre commentaire et pour tous les points relevés. Nous mettons tout en œuvre pour que le client se sente à l'aise, nous nous voyons donc navré que cela n'ait pas été votre ressenti. Concernant notre carte, nous nous efforçons de proposer des mets locaux, de saison et transformé sur place. Ainsi notre carte change régulièrement et cette carte "réduite" selon vos termes est un gage de qualité. Nous sommes heureux que le charme de notre bâtiment du XVIIIème siècle vous ait conquis, tout comme nos extérieurs et les chambres.
