A weeks retreat

The hospitality you will find no where else like the way Eleanor and Lino look after all your needs. Nothing is to much for them and their greatest wish is for every person to have a wonderful time at their bed and breakfast home..

The nicest hosts we have met! And dog-friendly, too!

The rooms are clean and spacious, with a view of the opposing mountainside and creek. The sounds of the creek rushing by lulled us to sleep at night. Lino and Elena were so lovely. They welcomed us in, and we felt like part of the family (even though we are distant cousins)! The breakfast was simple, but great - having plenty of everything we wanted.
Plus, our dog got to play with their dog!

Lovely stay

We had a great stay at Casa Moni. Such nice, helpful owners and well-built rooms. Breakfast was generous and delicious, and we got a lot of good advice during our visit. Bosco was one of the rare villages with natural snow on the slopes this year. We were there between Christmas and New Year and could ski with no problem at all.
Access to the breakfast table / living room is not always open, as the family lives there and has its own events sometimes. Remember, this is a B&B, not a hotel.

Modern yet rustic lodge

Hosts were friendly and the place was spotless. Italian, German, English and French spoken so you can brush up on all four. Peaceful nights in the hidden valley. Beautiful, calming sounds of glacial steam right behind the property to lull one to sleep. Incredibly charming historic village built from alpine stones for sight-seeing and friendly villagers. Parking on site and a 100 mètre walk to a few simple but tasty local restaurants, 200 mètre walk to ski lift. Very scenic 2.5 hour bus ride from Locarno train station for about 15 euros and a car is not necessary. I would definitely recommend the bus so that one enjoy the road rather than mind hairpin turns into the clouds. Verify the daily schedules as the bus is daily but infrequent. Bring wine and snacks if you wish and there is also a handy co-op on site. WiFi works great. Would recommend 4 nights. Plenty of walking trails for those who do not ski. Would be lovely in summer too as naturally cool and shaded I the valley.
