Very nice visit, but expensive transport!

Very nice considering the treatment. Our table reservation for five people was unfortunately somewhat late considering the returning boat. It worked out after conversations with the staff. Good food and very nice staff solved everything.
The reason we ended up in a time constraint was because the walk from the boat to the inn took half an hour for a couple of our colleagues and we asked on arrival for a ride back, and it would be arranged so that we could eat in peace before returning home.
So the only thing we have to complain about is the cost of two 80-year-olds, not in the best condition, in a small golf cart about 1km back to the boat went at 500:-! Compare taxi ride in Stockholm!!
That said, everything else very good!

Cottage on Grinda

Incredibly beautiful nature! Lovely trip there and home. Stayed in cottage. It smelled of damp and was incredibly dirty, the colander in the small kitchen was moldy and the blurs and pillows extremely dusty. Not affordable. Breakfast was nice. Recommend a day trip.

Great hotel in amazing surroundings

Superb hotel with simple stylish and clean accommodation. Great walks from hotel and boat trips. Delicious food. Lots of lovely seating areas

Questionable

Chairs down so that you rock too far down / back. Really uncomfortable to a dining table. Nice but slightly inattentive staff, new drinks you have to ask for even though everyone sits with empty glasses. We ate during the Frog guest appearance and the classic leaf steak had been kept warm and was dry and the same with fries. Ok environment but nothing more than 2+. Grinda and the archipelago is nice but it does not raise the tavern rating.

Fresh, tasty food, great service, perfect terrace.

Lovely terrace and very friendly, quick service. The food was of good quality, made with fresh ingredients, very tasty and even a bit surprising. Portions were generous and prices quite reasonable. Of course, it’s not Michelin star level, but for a restaurant on an island, it’s absolutely impressive and definitely worth a visit.
