An unforgettable place
Holidayed with your husband in November 2025.Wonderful place ,quiet calm corner ,within walking distance from the bustle of the resort town.
It's like you're going into another world. Monkeys, chipmunks, peacocks, everything is drowned in green.
Nice clean room,with sanitary knot.
On the floor is a shared kitchen, dining room .
The air conditioning was working properly.
The owner and his family are very kind and sympathetic.
The whole atmosphere of this villa is filled with happiness and tranquillity.
We still remember with warmth.
I recommend people who are tired of the city bustle .
If there's a heaven on earth, that's where it is.

Scenic oasis
Quiet, cozy cabin, in a comfortable place. Equally located from the city beach and the beaches of Jungle Beach. In a picturesque environment of plants and animals. Very kind hosts. There is a kitchen and dishes for self-preparation. We loved it.

Flew in on April 10, liked the villa right away, nice owners of the house Nalak and his wife with 3 sons. The owner immediately gave his room in the vatzap when he checked in, we liked the room.
Rested for a week, fed monkeys from the balcony, in principle very positive, bought shampoo and soap themselves, as they only give soap the size of a brand when checking in, but do not take breakfast, this is a problem for you and for the owners. As breakfast happens, I write to the owner expecting him to go cook, but no, he waits for us to come down to the kitchen and cook with us, then we eat and we wash the dishes! Breakfast takes 1 hour. Breakfast is 2 eggs, bread, butter, confit clear as jelly, no berries in it. The fruit plate is on it 1 banana, 1 slice of papaya, slice of watermelon. Everything. One day I wrote at 7.30 about breakfast, at 8.30 the owner came to the kitchen and said it was early, breakfast 8.30 and 9.30. It's extremely late, from the hotel to walk 15-20 minutes to the beach, we left the beach hot at 11, tied to breakfast ruined our holidays and breakfast is cheaper to buy in the cafe exactly what you want, not eggs. Ideally, go swimming after bed and after breakfast in a cafe. Talking on the beach, everyone has trouble with breakfast, nobody has a kitchen open on time, even if it says 8:00, opens at 8.40. The locals are very sleepy, slow, the mentality is such that this service has never been seen. Sometimes they took local buses if they saw him, they had 25 rupees off their nose when it was hard to walk, 50 for two and one stop, which is a penny. The 350th bus 3 stops to Turtle Beach. There are locals standing there brazenly telling me that the beach is 5 bucks, blocking the road, just walk past them, it's free. But if you take a snorkel mask and there are turtles on our beach nearby, every day you see them. If the reservation was without breakfast, it would be perfect. Nearby cafes and shops where we bought 5 litres of water. So you can live, but better book, closer to the beach

We were very pleased with the rest.
Vacationing with her husband in December 2025. Very much liked the villa, nice spacious room with air conditioning and fan. The view from the window is gorgeous, nature is like being in the jungle. The hosts are very hospitable and ready to help with any matter. Breakfast is decent, fruit every day for breakfast. The Wi-Fi works well. For tourists who rest for more than 10 days, the hostess prepares a farewell dinner - a compliment from the establishment. I recommend this guest house)))

Unforgettable Sri Lanka
Were at Mount Edge Villa from 27.01 to 11.02.2025 five. The hotel is new. Only four numbers so far. The room has a large bed, table, fridge, clothes rack, air conditioning, balcony with table and 2 armchairs. The plumbing is all new, the water is always hot. There is a communal lobby with a large table and kitchen with gas and all the necessary dishes. We cooked ourselves. Went to Halle for seafood, fish. All the groceries were bought at the Food City Supermarket. From the hotel to the right along the road 100 meters. Eggs were bought from a farmer across the street to the right (cheaper than in the shop). The hotel is just inland from the road, amidst the jungle. There are monkeys nearby and the varan enters the grounds, parrots, peacocks on the roof and birds are huge. Beauty is indescribable. Hotel owner Nalaka lives with his wife Sahu 3 sons on the 1st floor. He arranged a shuttle service from and to the airport. Money changed with him, the rate is favorable, no need to look. Course was at 2.94 airport. We were changing 2.95 2.97. The course is constantly changing.2 times went to the cafe- Lemongrass and Sand Beach, no one liked it. Nalaki Sahu's wife cooks divine rice, fish, shrimp, crabs. If you do not want to cook, you can order from the hotel.In general, any requests are fulfilled instantly. Lovely family, we all love them. The hotel has a convenient location. Been to Jungle Beach twice. Once on foot, left from the hotel on the main road to the intersection, then up. Took knock knock for Rs. 400 twice and got there quickly. Better go in the morning. No people, privacy beach, beautiful photos, worth visiting. Also went to the turtle beach, bus stop to the right of the hotel on the other side of the road. Tell the conductor- Angel Beach Hotel,he will stop,we need to go left on the bank . You'll see the big rock, followed by the turtles. Better in the morning, too, until there's a crowd. The photos are chic, and it is very interesting to swim with the turtles, they sell food immediately, you can feed them. Nalaka organized a tour to China. Take us to Mirissa in a car and set it up, cheaper than the agencies. We also went to Sigiriya and Dambulla. $80 per person. Very interesting, the lift is really heavy, but we climbed in 45 minutes. Stunning views,and these are the objects protected by UNESCO,no one spared!!! Visit Halle. From the hotel on the right stop (transit 50 rupees) - there is an ancient fort, not far from there is a beautiful temple. And near the fort fish market!!! The beach from the hotel can be reached on foot for 15 minutes to the main tour.street and a little inland. But it is more convenient to cross the road and take the bus 2 stops and you are on the ocean (Rs. 30).The ocean is beautiful, the water is azure,warm,unforgettable!!! Alcohol is only sold in the wine store, left of the hotel for 15 minutes on foot or by bus 1 stop. Calypso rum Rs. 5,700, Lyon lager beer Rs. 500,stout Rs. 730. There's a lot of other alcohol besides that. If you smoke, take more cigarettes, here is very expensive.In general, happy with the trip!! Thank you so much to Nalaka and his family, did not want to leave, felt at home!!! Be sure to come back here!!! Sri Lanka is heaven!!!
