An oasis of greenery and calm.

Just behind the beach, you can hear the music of the ocean from the rooms. The service is impeccable, fast and smiling. I recommend the huts, very nice with tropical birds singing early in the morning. Public areas are clean and BBQ evenings successful. In short, it is the ideal guesthouse for a successful surftrip. Only downside, the wifi is uneven.

Highly recommended Accomodation!

Super cozy place to stay for good prices, just a few metres from the beach. Rooms are tidy, have a fan and everything you need. The Beach Hut Crew is nice, open minded, helpful and flexible. You can also eat here for cheap prices compared to the rest of Arugam Bay. With its backpacker style it creates a atmosphere, in which also the contact between guests feels more natural. We enjoyed a lot being here for 11 days and would always come again.

Great vibe, good food/price

Off-season the best place to stay. Rooms are OK and cheap. Too bad they gave away a cheaper room that was promised to me... Vibe is great and their kitchen is good and affordable. Wish the portions were a bit bigger though!

Superb Weekend

I never expected a Such a Delicious Food from your kitchen, all your team mates did a great job..they are very kind and helpful..they work long hours during our two day stay at the hut..beautiful location and we stayed in a standard room but tree houses too available, rooms were cleaned and very specious and offered a very affordable rate, though we were not stayed in full day at the hotel..my NSB team mates had a fun time there...

So good we stayed twice

Rangas Beach Hut is an example of a hotel that is a rare gem, striking the trifecta of awesome buildings and atmosphere, excellent service and comfortable yet unique rooms. We stayed once for 3 nights and loved it so much that we returned with a friend for another 4 nights. Cheap, communal, quirky, relaxing, friendly. Highly recommend.
