Un très bon point de chute pour un séjour à Kandy

En transit à Kandy nous n'y avons passé qu'une seule nuit ce qui a été suffisant pour apprécier la qualité de cet hôtel de ville: chambre spacieuse et moderne et excellente cuisine Sri Lankaise présentée par le chef lui-même. Je conseille

Très bel hôtel et personnel extraordinaire

Nous sommes actuellement dans cette hôtel à quelques kilomètres de Kandy.
L’hôtel a ouvert il y a quelques semaines. Les chambres sont spacieuses, bien équipées, confortables et une vue magnifique sur les montagnes alentours.
Un personnel aux petits soins, d’une grande gentillesse est super efficace ! Merveilleuse équipe du restaurant

We are currently in this hotel a few miles from Kandy. The hotel is open a few weeks ago, and the rooms are spacious, well equipped with comfortable amenities and wonderful views of the surrounding mountains.
A staff caring, a great kindness is super efficient!

Hotel with many weaknesses

Hotel is located very far outside the center, so short detour to the city without a car is difficult. Room facilities ok, however, despite several nights no housekeeping was done. Rooms are extremely noisy - karaoke from the street until well after midnight, plus 30 minutes of megaphone sound in the morning & evening 5:30-6:00, so peaceful sleep was unthinkable.
Food led to massive stomach upset.
Definitely not 4 stars - for this price there are significantly better hotels in the center of Kandy.

Peaceful stay

We had a wonderful stay at Rivendell Hotel. The hotel is in a peaceful location just outside the busy centre of Kandy, making it a perfect place to relax while still being close to the main attractions.
The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had beautiful views of the surrounding hills and greenery. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, always happy to help with anything we needed and giving great local advice.
Breakfast was delicious with a good mix of local and Western options, and the atmosphere around the hotel was calm and relaxing. It’s a great place to unwind after visiting sights like the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic or exploring the city.
Highly recommend Rivendell Hotel if you’re visiting Kandy and looking for a comfortable stay with great hospitality. Would definitely stay here again!

Great stay

Midcity, quiet inside, cozy, clean, great hospitality. Bat migration in evening from rooftop is treat. Food variety is good, for Asians as well as Europians, americans, and Oceania.
Do taste the fish. Freshwater fish are tasty, saltwater fish fleshy, well cooked. Caring staff.
