Breakfast and hospitality super!
We stayed at Elje Villa and the experience was definitely positive. The owner, Elena, is an exquisite person and very helpful, always ready to meet our needs. Upon our arrival he greeted us with a delicious freshly made juice, a gesture much appreciated and typical of good-quality facilities here in the Seychelles.
The strong point: The Breakfast
Without a doubt the best breakfast tried among the various Guest Houses in Seychelles! Every morning, hot croissants and delicious crepes prepared with banana and Nutella were served. Fresh fruit was never lacking (papaya, watermelon, bananas, passion fruit and avocado) and varied daily, accompanied by excellent homemade juices. A special note of merit goes to Elena: on the last day, having to take the ferry very early, she prepared us the full breakfast at 6:00 in the morning, serving us fresh products (eggs of choice, toast, jam) and nothing packaged despite the time. A gesture that we appreciated very much.
The Room and Services:
The room is spacious, equipped with a refrigerator and is cleaned and tidied up daily with regular change of towels. The bathroom is spacious and very comfortable. There is a hairdryer, but it is small and not very powerful: if you have very long hair, I recommend you bring one from home. Very convenient the possibility to rent bicycles directly in the structure.
Common Areas and Kitchen:
The common area is equipped with a well-stocked kitchen and a washing machine, which is a big plus. The only drawback is the temperature in this area: it lacks a fan and while cooking the heat becomes almost unbearable (a problem that does not exist in the room thanks to the excellent air conditioning).
Sore notes and tips for travelers:
Bathroom products: One thing we did not like is that in the bathroom only hand soap is provided. Shower gel and shampoo are not present, so remember to bring them with you or buy them on site.
Water: There is no fresh water included in the morning, which is essential for those traveling with a child. Buy it at the supermarket the night before.
Location: The villa is close to the port, but the road to it is a bit isolated, with potholes and little light. It is essential to have a torch for the evening.
Overall it was a great experience that we highly recommend, especially for the kindness of the managers and the amazing breakfast!

Great time on La Digue
We felt very comfortable here. Nice welcome, bike rental, good breakfast (fresh fruit, juice, toast, jam, pankakes or similar). Our room and also the bathroom were nice and very clean. For self-catering there is a communal kitchen that we did not use. Nice terrace (seating furniture in front of the room) where breakfast was served.
The small town of La Passe (port) is quickly accessible on foot or by bike. Here you can go to dinner well in the evening, we found very good the Le Nautique (a bit more expensive) and the Fish Trap Restaurant, but also Julie's Takeaway (cheap).

What an amazing time we had!
The villa was perfect for our family, we had 3 young children (age 1, 4 and 6years) and their grandparents with us on holiday. The villa is great for children, a big secure garden for them to run around, a high chair for the little one and cot. Everything was very clean the entire stay and we really enjoyed the breakfast. They were excellent with the children, even making extra sausages on a morning as one of my children loved them so much and is a very fussy eater. The fruit smoothies each morning were great and the children loved them. All the rooms had their own bathroom which was really convenient.
The location is walkable from the port with your luggage. We hired bikes through the accommodation and got seats on the back for the two youngest children.
We ate at the villa also and the food was amazing, really easy to have food cooked for us and let the kids run around as opposed to trying to get them all sitting down in a restaurant! They had a dominos set so we sat down on an evening playing and had a good laugh.
There are a number of restaurants and take aways walkable from the accommodation and the beach.
There are two dogs, we have a dog at home so my children are used to dogs, they were really good with the children. My little girl loved Fluffy.
I really can’t recommend this place enough.

All what I needed
What a beautiful and peaceful place! Beautifully decorated. I love every single detail about ELJE VVILLA. The owner - Elna has for you good size bedroom with very comfortable bed and TV. I was also impressed with washroom size. We are all very much attached to our mobile phones and an internet. You don't have to worry. You'll find really good working internet at ELJA VILLA + delicious breakfast with freshly made smoothie. 5 minutes walk to the biggest supermarket on LA DIGUE.
I took few photos to share with my friends and I'll be glad to share with you as well.This is my 2and week at ELJA VILLA but I must feel really homely if I decided to stay 3 more weeks or maybe longer. I spent 4 weeks on MAHE and one week on PRASLIN but I have to say LA DIGUE is my favourite. Enjoy your stay!‼

WARNING!!! It has nothing to do with ELJA VILLA but since you are planning to visit LA DIGUE try to stay away from Roland - photo attached below. Don't make any deals with him regarding fishing, snorkeling or diving. He is full of empty promises. He will take your money and you won't see him again.

Very nice and clean Villa
I stayed 3 nights at this villa. I can recommend everybody. It looked amazing. It was very clean, i liked the bad very much and spent a lot of time at the terrace. I would stay there when i come again to la digue.
