I had a wonderful stay at the lodge. The staff were incredibly helpful, friendly, and always ready to assist with anything I needed. The breakfast was also excellent with a great variety of delicious options every morning. Overall, it was a very comfortable and enjoyable experience, and I would definitely recommend Eagle view to anyone looking for great service and a relaxing stay.

The staff members completely understand the assignment. They'd randomly check to make sure you're fine. If Ms. Raïssa ever consider running for office of the President, my vote is down.

Highly recommended boutique hotel in Kigali, Rwanda
I have stayed here twice & will return. The lodge is situated in the hills above Kigali, with beautifully appointed, individually African themed rooms which offer breathtaking views.
The buffet breakfast offers ample options - pastries, fruits, hot dishes, omelettes made-to-order, fresh juices, and barista coffee with options of cow, soy or oat milk.
The set menu for lunch and dinner provides several options, all of which I thoroughly enjoyed.
All staff provided 5-star service at all times.
Free wifi is included and was always reliable.
Rwanda and its capital Kigali is clean, safe and friendly, and offers an array of activities for all travellers including markets, museums, art galleries, great bars and restaurants. Kigali offers a superb, central location to set off for gorilla trekking, wildlife safaris, and exploring the surrounding lakes, villages and countryside. A 5-star, yet affordable African experience which offers everything you'd want if you're considering a trip to Africa.
The owner of Eagle View Lodge, William, is a true gentleman who shows a genuine passion for his amazing boutique hotel, and of course his guests and staff. Likewise, the manager Sarah is wonderfully kind, attentive and always helpful.
I have visited all continents except Antartica, and have stayed in hundreds of hotels, and Eagle View Lodge easily rates as one of my top 5 hotel experiences around the world.

The staff was very friendly
Can’t really say much more about it we got there at 9 PM and left at 9 AM
It’s just there long enough to sleep
But when we did eat breakfast, it was a beautiful view of the city

Exquisite restaurant!
I ordered the Kivu Lemongrass steamed fish and loved every bite. The flavors were delicate and perfectly balanced, and enjoying it with the stunning panoramic view over Kigali made the experience even better. A definite must‑try!
