Great location at a great price

I have stayed here a few times on my way to visit family on the South. The hotel is right next to the main road which is perfect. The rooms are large nd comfortable with great sound proofing so you don’t hear the traffic from the Duel carriage way. At £40 this was brilliant value.

Poor sleep quality

This hotel is great for Silverstone circuit. The staff are all polite and friendly and there is a large car park that isn’t owned by Horizon, a huge plus. BUT the corridors smell awful (thankfully our room didn’t ) , there are no nets or blinds in the window and so no privacy from the car park unless you close the black out curtains making the room dark and needing lights on in daylight. But the main complaint would be the incredibly uncomfortable bed. Had 2 awful nights of broken sleep as the bed is so hard. For this reason I wouldn’t stay here again.

PRIVACY ISSUES

Warm friendly welcome on arrival at reception, Sara was very helpful sorting a fan & an iron for me.
Room & bathroom clean but NO NETS ON GROUND FLOOR ROOMS, therefore NO PRIVACY, I did mention on my feedback from my last visit, but nothing altered.
It meant I had have curtains closed whilst in room, therefore NO PRIVACY, rooms face the annexe so other rooms can see straight in, this is a more important issue if a family was staying with children ( this is a family room 07 as is 06 which I stayed in last time)
Please note this when booking !
