An excellent stay in a top hotel.

Lovely seafront location and a beautiful garden layout and sparkling pool. There was a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with very obliging and helpful staff.
The room was very quiet and comfortable, although the bathroom was a little tight but very clean with soft fluffy towels. We appreciated the the kettle and drink making facilities as well as the dear little complimentary milk. The balcony was lovely and great to sit on to admire the views and chill.
The half board booking which also included the ferry crossings and a cream tea was of value for the time of year.
The service was top class and the food was delicious with excellent choices in both in the breakfast buffet, with hot selections, and the evening meals which were superb.
We would recommend this hotel for a stay in the Isle of Wight.

Memorable Stay at Luccombe Hotel

Ideal location in Shanklin. Friendly atmosphere, having live music in the gardens of the hotel was wonderful. Rooms cleaned on a daily basis with the added treat of fresh milk topped up in the fridge & chocolate! Our sincere Thanks to Kathy, Brooke & the young chap (sorry forgot his name!) on Reception for the warm welcome & to all the staff in the Restaurant for their care & attention. 5

Relaxing stay on the Island at Luccombe!

We absolutely love the location of Luccombe Hall and it feels like paradise but only across the water from our home! It was a very homely and relaxing atmosphere during our stay. Our room was up in the attic! We loved our room but not the stairs! It was a good size and beds very comfortable! It is great value for money with great food and facilities we especially found all staff to be very friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. We really loved the afternoon tea by the pool! The hotel was very clean with modern interior and lots of improvements since we last visited. We meet lots of guests who were returning on more than one occasion! We will be back again soon.

Disappointing Hotel

Very disappointing hotel and massively overpriced. We paid over £400 for bed and breakfast but the room was average and the hotel very tired. The dining room was particularly bad - dark old fashioned furniture, dark carpet and sticky tables. Staff and food were good but overall we just felt ripped off.

Great summer holiday

Incredible location with a rich history, nested in a great corner of IOW, with amazing staff and so many things to keep the whole family safely entertained.
