What an amazing place!!!
We arrived at the beautiful Petersham Hotel for a special lunch for a family gathering, celebrating my Grandads 80th birthday! Staff were welcoming on arrival and very attentive. As there were a few queries regarding dietary requirements/allergies in our group, the lovely Rosie was very knowledgeable, polite and prompt at getting back to me. It was an amazing day and my Grandad loved it which was the main thing. The staff were great but I would like to personally thank the professionalism of Rosie once again who made the special event run so smoothly! Can't wait to return!!!

Beautiful hotel
I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. Our room was comfortable and the view was amazing!

A charming stay
A very enjoyable stay at The Petersham. Our bedroom was comfortable, spacious and very well maintained, with a lovely traditional character that suited the hotel perfectly. The room was spotlessly clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. We particularly enjoyed the character of the building and its beautiful location overlooking the river. The whole hotel has a warm and welcoming feel, and the staff made us feel very well looked after. We look forward to returning.

No AC and lots of additional optional service charges
Far too hot. No air conditioning My major problem though are the subtle service fees. There is the additional booking fee for the room and then additional service fees. For example, one pays £36 for breakfast and then find an optional service fee is added to the bill. Interestingly the amount varies by day. The receptionist didn’t know why it varied. It is optional though. Unlike the service fee for a drink from the bar at 10:30pm. This was added to the bill with no option to remove it.

I haven’t stayed for a while but was welcomed with a warm greeting. The hotel staff were all very helpful as always.
