The front door need to be fixed as the pin doesn’t work, I called customer service and they informed to use the back door which was helpful, the lady was very professional and nice.
The room had some dirt in the left hand side draw, also there was some eyelashes in the bed and some socks at the top of the wardrobe.
The cleaning need to be better in the room, waking up and finding some lashes is not the best as I don’t use fake eyelashes it was disgusting.

Booked as a base to explore Hull. It's basic but immaculately clean and perfect for a quick stop over.

Had to ring customer services to get the entry code etc, but details sent straight away. Easy walking distance to the town centre and bus/train station. Room was very spacious (I was upgraded from a single to a double), clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend to other travellers 🙂

Walking in, the room smelt of cigarettes and damp. It was shocking. The mattress was appalling as well - it might as well have not be there. Would have been more comfortable sleeping on the slats. In the middle of the night, the fire alarm went off in the whole hotel - with no staff manning the place, I’d be surprised if the owner even knows this happened. It was simply silenced by a fellow guest, which meant it went off again later in the evening. I also failed to see any fire safety signs around the hotel, no muster point or anything? We were just left guessing. What if there was an actual fire? The walls must be made of paper mache, as you can hear everything everyone is saying - might as well join in the conversation. There is a good 4cm gap in the bottom of the door too - so anyone walking down the hallway can be heard. Might be better too to have a closing time for the kitchens - people are trying to sleep and others are marauding up the corridor as if they’re doing a marching drill in the army! Would not recommend and will not be staying again!
