Excellent relaxing stay
We arrived at lunchtime and ordered a snack and drink. The staff were amazing and extremely polite. Reception came and found us when it was our time to use the spa. They had arranged for our bags to be taken up to the 1st floor spa.
I have to say the area is lovely. Everything in the spa was very modern, clean, and luxurious. With French windows over looking the marina made it perfect. Ruby and ?(sorry I have forgotten your name) were extremely helpful and showed us around and explained how the facilities worked.
When it was time for our treatments Ruby and ? came and led us to the treatment room
The products were very good as were the facial and massage.
They arranged to get our room key for us so we didn’t have to walk down to reception in dressing gowns.
Our room 406 was superbly furnished and looked out over the marina.
Dinner was really good (too much) and breakfast was amazing. Most certainly will return and full recommend this hotel and spa.

Now on my Favourites List!
We came here to attend a friends' wedding a 20 minute drive away and decided to stay 3 nights.
This hotel and its gorgeous harbourfront location was a total delight.
The staff could not do enough for you. Our room was plush - huge and comfy, overlooking the harbour, with a lovely big bathroom and great shower. Car parking was easy, secure and free in the hotels own car park.
We did not have air con but they supplied a large plug in fan.
We loved the fact that breakfast was available until 12 in their restaurant. It was freshly cooked to order and very tasty.
I would also highly recommend a day trip to Thorpeness, where there is a beautiful huge shallow boating lake about a 40 minute drive away. We took a rowing boat out and fed the ducks and geese and had ice cream. I cannot describe how beautiful it was.

We booked spa access for the morning of departure. The spa is an excellent addition to the hotel with great views over the harbour.
Only one small negative … we were told at the bar to find a table & they would take drinks order. We sat outside and waited 10 minutes with no service so ending up leaving and had cocktails elsewhere.
