Fantastic Place To Stay
Perfect in everyway, two minutes from the beach & town, lovely rooms, great breakfast & staff, get it booked.

Average, lacking charm
Good location, pedestrian zone, beach and harbor within walking distance.
Nicely furnished - it lacks a bit of the 'soul' that you notice in other places. The style is rather American. The hosts are not present; it feels rather anonymous like in a hotel.
The bed is nice and wide, with many pillows.
Unfortunately, the bathroom was not clean.
The breakfast was a simple buffet/continental, below average. No scrambled eggs or similar. It was the conclusion of our trip, unfortunately not a successful one.

Disappointing
A well furnished house located in a lovely Cornish coastal town. However, we were surprised to find that cooked breakfast wasn't available. This was unexpected, disappointing and unusual for B&B accomodation. Initial access required a mobile phone on arrival (we didn't have one!).

We do advertise clearly that whilst our breakfats are fresh, varied and delicious, we do not offer a 'fry up'. In our own experience, what we offer is not unusual at all and most of our Guests comment favourably as can be seen from the vast majotiry of our reviews .
We take the security of our Guests seriously and access to the property is usually by personal greeting, but arrivals outside of our regular check in times are sometimes invited to use a key safe for their own convenience. Arrival outside of our check in times, without prior arrangement - and without a phone, may well have been difficult as we would have needed to ensure identity verification.
We are sorry that our arrangements were not completely suitable for you but pleased nonetheless to hear that you had a comfortable stay, a good nights sleep and that you loved our location and the cleanliness of our rooms!

Fawlty Towers of Falmouth
Awful communications …initially telling me my Payment method had failed, even though I booked through Booking.com, who handled the payments . They didn’t answer follow up messages asking if the issue was resolved ,so I called. I then discovered that Bosanneth don’t answer the published phone number , you get a call from a mobile saying you called me!, but don’t say who they are from a person with a very rude attitude.
The worst part was when I called to confirm check in time after 2 conflicting messages the person claimed they hadn’t sent them and ended by saying “if I don’t like their attitude and poor communications don’t come! “
Thankfully another member of staff stepped in and gave us a full refund giving us a major relief we had escaped staying at Fawlty Towers of Falmouth..
The worst part was when I called to confirm check in time after 2 conflicting messages the person claimed they hadn’t sent them and ended by saying “if I don’t like their attitude and poor communications don’t come! “
Thankfully another member of staff stepped in and gave us a full refund giving us a major relief we had escaped staying at Fawlty Towers of Falmouth..

Oh dear. Firstly I must point out that this traveller did not stay with us and has never been to Bosanneth !! Their booking was made via booking.com and as soon as we spoke to this reviewer, the reservation was declined and a full refund was offered.
Their rudeness on the phone to our staff was unwarranted and inexcusable in our view and quickly indicated to us that we would not be happy to receive them as Guests.
Communication via booking.com reservations can seem repetitive at times and they are out of our control , as are declined card payments via their system, but as soon as we became aware of the attitude of this caller, we immediately offered to cancel the booking so that they would not spoil the quiet and relaxed ambiance that returning Guests have come to enjoy at Bosanneth.
Occasionally, our phone line is busy but we always respond to missed calls quickly and sometimes, to avoid delays, that returning call may come from a mobile number if our staff are not physically in the office.
This of course means that the 'ratings' offered in this review, regarding all but the expressed communication difficulties, are irrelevant, since the reviewer has no knowledge or experience of our acclaimed levels of comfort, value, room quality, service, cleanliness, lovely sea views etc. Our many glowing reviews and our consistent 5* rating on TripAdvisor, booking.com, Agoda, kyak and others should help travellers to make a more informed decision.
