An amazing B&B, we will definitely be back!!!
Our room was superb! Clean and well replenished (thanks Mel :)) and spacious, with a lovely large ensuite. Shower was amazing!!!
Plenty of tea/coffee and mini bar in room.
Bed and pillows were comfy.
As we were in a heat wave, Jude provided us a Dyson fan!!!!
USB chargers in sockets.
Toiletries included in bathroom even toothpaste and toothbrushes!!!
Breakfast was amazing!!! Lovely fresh fruit salad and yogurt, choices of cereals, fresh oven baked pastries. Followed by one of the best full English breakfasts we’ve had! Cooked by Jude herself with the lovely Mel that greeted and served us. My husband left his suit trousers in the wardrobe, just a quick call and Jude is posting them back to us.
We will definetly be back!

Very clean and comfortable room overlooking the harbour and a great breakfast. Definitely recommended.

Staying at the Ship in Dock Inn provides very comfortable, welcoming accommodation to visit Dartmouth.
The bedroons are individually decorated with many tasteful extras. The ensuite bathrooms are large. It was lovely that the sash windows were working well (with additional rubber wedges provided for use if windy).
Although the pub does not have a restaurant, the breakfast was amazing. Freshly made fruit salad provided each morning with yogurt was welcome. Usual english breakfast items were available with additional options. I had a beautifully cooked omelette, and my husband had kippers. Nothing was too much trouble for the very friendly landlady and staff.
The pub/guesthouse was ideally suited for getting out and about Dartmouth. We took advantage of being able to park on the road as it was outside of the summer season. Parking restrictions are in place between May and October which would make parking difficult.
We visted Greenway National Trust House, via the river, which was excellent, took the steamtrain to Paignton, train was lovely ( no need to spend much time in Paignton, it had little to offer and appeared very tired) and enjoyed a visit to Coleton Fishacre.
Dartmouth is charming with many walks around the ancient town and out to the castle. Everywhere you go there are stunning views of the river and the Royal Naval College.
We would recommend Dartmouth for a short break and the Ship in Dock Inn as the place to stay.
