Perfect half term get away
The site is located a lovely 15/20 minute walk through a wooden area from the village. I would recommend to anyone. Thank you

Wonderful little site
The campsite is smalls in comparison to some of the others, but that was a bonus.
We had a lovely corner plot pitch 12, which was huge, and perfect for the dog, and it always had shady spots.

Relaxing visit to a beautiful location
It has all the facilities you would want for a comfortable stay.
For families you have a playground close by, and the adults have a pub 1 minutes walk away.
The site is a mix of accommodation types. Our cottage was great. If you look closely through the trees you can see Ullswater!
Its close enough to Ullswater and the pier for the ferry is a 15 minute walk away. Note to check timetable on line as boat wasnt going to Pooley Bridge on the day we wanted due to weather conditions.
The pub on site didnt do food. The Brackenrigg Inn is 5 minutes drive away with superb food and beer! Pie night is Wednesday and is great value. We also ate at the Ullswater Inn. Partridge, haggis, neeps and tatties was amazing.
Back to the subject of Waterfoot Park, its a great location, with excellent facilities in the cottages. I wish we could have used the patio more but the weather wasnt on our side!

Great tip about checking the Ullswater ‘Steamers’ timetable in changeable weather; it’s always wise, especially outside peak conditions.
We’re glad you made the most of the local food scene—The Brackenrigg Inn is a favourite of many (pie night is a winner!), and it’s lovely to hear you enjoyed The Ullswater Inn as well. We’ve noted your comment about the on-site pub not serving food; we’ll continue to share nearby dining options with guests ahead of arrival to make planning easier.
It’s a shame the weather kept you from using the patio more, but we’re thrilled the cottage and facilities still made for a relaxing stay. We’d love to welcome you back to Waterfoot Park—hopefully with sunnier skies and plenty of patio time next visit!
