Deceptively excellent!

Lovely little stay here for one night whilst visiting. The location is great (on the high street) with food, drink and shopping on your doorstep. Rooms were immaculate, smelled fresh and provided with everything you would need. Welcomed with all information needed, with a cosy, welcoming atmosphere in the pub. Excellent value for money. Although above the pub, noise levels were at a minimum and didnt disturb. Parking at leisure centre, cheap and convenient. We will definitely be coming back, thank you!

Not what I was expecting :(

I walked in and walked straight out again. The entrance to the room is through the bar or through the delivery area of Aldi. The room itself looked ok, but nothing like photos. The front entrance of the pub was dirty and uninviting and I did not feel safe staying here. I booked into somewhere else straight away. I took a photo of the front door when I returned the keys.

Great location, great price, and great landlady/staff!

The room was perfect and really comfortable. It was really convenient for going to a wedding nearby at Mythe Barn. The Inn was really easy to find from the centre of the town and was next to Aldi and Tesco if you needed to purchase anything. It was really close to the Cattle Market car park too. Our room was ready when we arrived and we were able to check-in early which was so convenient. We had an issue with two taxis letting us down one after another when getting to the wedding so the very kind landlady offered to give us a lift to make sure we made it on time to the wedding (with minutes to spare!). We are eternally grateful! It would have been useful to have information on Booking.com or the Inn's website about the best place to park and what the charges/hours of operation are. Luckily we stumbled across the Cattle Market car park and it was 24-hour but the charges were confusing for overnight stays.

One night stay

We stayed for one night on a Sunday for a wedding we had at Mythe barn. We checked in at 12 and were allowed to our double room, room 2 and left our things and went to the wedding. The room was lovely, air con if we needed it, we didn’t. Lovely shower, room decorated lovely and comfy bed. Tea and coffee making facilities and shower gels. It was a lovely stay and would def stay again if we are ever in the area or for another wedding!

Brilliant stay!

I stayed here with my husband and 2 children after visiting Drayton Manor's Christmas experience. It's just a short drive from there and was reasonably priced, which is why we booked. We weren't disappointed. We had the apartment room, which had a king-sized bed in one room, a kitchen area, bathroom, and another room with a sofa bed. It had everything you may need, including hairdryer, iron, cooking utensils, microwave, fridge, free WiFi, 2 teles, dressing table, kettle with tea/coffee, fresh towels and toiletries. The beds were comfortable and it was very clean. It's decorated beautifully too. We loved the shower!
