New years eve

We have spent 2 nights in Gobe Csarda 31.12-2.1.2017. It was a nice stay since we were just looking for a place to spend a night. Free parking inside facility, pretty close to the city center for a great price. Breakfast was okay and we had free wifi.
The owners dont speak english but our friend knows Romanian so we had no problem.
Rooms were nice, clean, classic. If you looking for a place to stay during short holiday, exploring the city or partying, deffinitelly recommend.

Beware

Dirty and uncared for rooms. Bathrooms stinks. Cobwebs and dust. After seeing the rooms we wanted out money back but was refused. Owners are rude liar racists if you speak romanian like my wife. She said she was cused in hungarian behind her back as she understands the language but doesn't speaks. Ac was dirty beeing a health hazard. On the first night we were locked out as we came back after 23:00.

Ok for a night

I have visited the place in seoteptember with a small group. The inn is ok, good for 1_2 nights, the staff is friendly and helpful, the place is near to city center so you can visit everything by feet

Worst experience ever

We are visited the hotel for business purpouse. Had a contract with the hotel for more people. When we arrived in the evening, the ladytold us in every her sentence, that rhey will gave us “the bill”. In the second day’s morning i asked at the recepcion for the invoice. The lady was nice and made me the invoice, for all the people, without asking me how i want to pay. When she gaves me the invoice i told her thet we will transfer the money trough online banking. That was the piont when she get angry. She was so furious why i didn’t tell her, that i don’twant to pay cash ( cause that’s normal and ordinary). I had to wait more than 30 minutes after her, to fix this problem.
About the rooms, they was not to clean, the bedding had a strange smell also the towels.
With that price you can find a more confortable hotel with nice personel.

Authentic Szekely experience

The place is really close to the fortress, which makes ideal for anyone who has plans at or near the fortress. There is an interior parking lot, ideal for those who travel with car. However - the cleanliness of the room was much to be desired. Also there was no functional AC (only a prehistoric fan) in the room and the windows have no mesh on them, which led to a lot of mosquito invasion. Be sure to bring your own towels, as there aren't a lot to go around and probably have the same age as the fortress. Taking a shower is only recommended if you smoke, as you can easily smoke even two cigarettes before the water gets warm. The breakfast must be purchased separately, and it contained only the cheapest and most basic stuff you can find.
