Yummy

Wow this small motel is right by the road in a middle of nowhere but it's clean and quiet and the food in the cute little restaurant is yummy! Great stop on a way through this beautiful country and very green at this time of the year.

Lunch at Arkus Motel

On my way from Prague airport I popped in to have sth. to eat. Very good food for ridiculously low prices and incredibly nice staff.

If you don't find anything else...

We had trouble finding accommodation for a music festival in Jaromer so, after asking a czech friend, she found this place for us a few kilometres from Jaromer.
Now, where to start... I reckon the price was around 20e per person. I don't how the rates are over there, but it doesn't seem too expensive.
The receptionist didn't speak much english but we managed to let ourselves be understood enough.
The room was ok, just your normal average. The bathroom was basically the shower plate, sink and toilet, not much space.
It was hot by the time we were there and there was no air conditioning or fans, so expect noise if you decide to open the windows. After all, this is next to a main road.
We didn't have a car and, for some reason, the receptionist refused to call a taxi for us even using our mobile phones. Luckily, we met some people at the gas station next to the place who could speak a bit of english and they called a taxi for us. We had to do this for 3 days.
Cernozice is a tiny town, with a nice forest you can walk if you have time. We went from Cernozice to Jaromer through it the first day. Not a pleasant walk if you are in a hurry, with no liquids and under the sun but nice nevertheless. Takes about hour and a half.

Silný sestup kvality

Píši o restauraci, která se v posledním roce příšerně pohoršila. Jídla stará a neustále dokola ohřívaná, knedlíky rozbředlé, plné vody z páry v ohřívači, nenasakují ale rozpadají se. Také přestali brát kreditní karty. Vše je v režii žen s tvrdým ukrajinským přízvukem...Internet chodí zřídka.

Auf der Durchreise

Auf der Durchreise von Schlesien nach München haben wir hier Station gemacht und einen Abend und eine Nacht verbracht. Das Motel liegt direkt an der alten Hauptstraße von Nachod nach Prag in der Nähe von Königgrätz. Die Zimmer sind einfach und preiswert; gegen den Straßenlärm sind auch die Zimmer auf der Strßenseite gut isoliert. Auf der der Straße abgewandten Seite befindet sich ein Parkplatz für Lastkraftwagen, vor dem Hotel ist ausreichend Raum für Personenautos. Wir hatten kein Problem mit Gräuschbelästigungen.
Das Abendessen im dazugehörigen Restaurant war gut. Das Frühstück holt man sich vom Buffet; die Auswahl und Qualität ist in Ordnung für ein Motel.
Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es kann aber zu Sprachproblemen kommen, weil nicht das ganze Personal eine Fremdsprache spricht. Meist kann man sich aber in Englisch oder Polnisch verständigen.
Das Haus ist für die Durchreise oder einen Kurzaufenthalt sehr empfehlenswert.
