Approved

An impartial experience. Indescritivel. recomendo muito. Its history is impregnated in the walls and movables of the house.

A dungeon / dungeon - no hotel!

This house is a disaster! When we arrived, we received our key from a key safe. The room was in the basement and was without windows, equipped with medieval furniture and smelled musty. It was more like a vet or a dungeon. The whole house, the whole place was gloomy. We left after a day and looked around for something else. Despite complaints to the hotel and tour guide, the fees for the week were withheld. Never again!

Very hot

I understand that it is summer and it is hot, what does not seem normal to us is that in the room and bathroom it does not go below 30° neither day nor night. We tried having the blinds drawn, ventilating first thing in the morning, and nothing helped to lower the temperature in the 3 nights we spent there. All the time with the fan on to alleviate the stay somewhat. The heat in the shared kitchen was also unbearable.
The taps in both the shower and the sink are somewhat loose.
The refrigerators do not cool, neither the one in the kitchen nor the refrigerator in the room, which added to the heat inside the house, the food can go into poor condition. Also, the refrigerator in the bedroom makes a lot of noise.
The wifi has not worked well at any time.
The closet in one of the two bedrooms is filled with duvets and blankets, making it almost unusable.
The double bed is comfortable, but not the two single beds.
In the area of the two beds, the curtain rail is missing the stop and as soon as you were going to draw the curtains, the rod falls.
There is no elevator to go up to the rooms and the rest of the shared rooms.
As positive:
The possibility of being able to use the living rooms and kitchen.
Cleaning the entire house.
The pool and garden.
Free parking.

Great Little Find

We had a day trip to Portugal and stayed here. The house is fabulous with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. A couple of things let it down. The house was shut up when we arrived with no-one on site to let us in. We did only wait 20 minutes after a phone call. The house smelled a bit musty and just needed the windows opening for a bit before we got there. Plenty to do on site either swimming in the pool ,games, TV and music etc.
Certain things didn't work or were a little dated, but that didn't take away from our stay. We had a great time and for a fantastic price. Worth a visit.
