Neat, Tidy, Great value & close to Robinson’s Mall.
I have been staying at Ralph Anthony Suites every time I visit Manila for the last 10 years (some 8 stays). The staff are ever-attentive and helpful and the rooms always neat and tidy.
Maybe not in the back-packer’s budget, but I would recommend Ralph Anthony Suite to any travelling family wanting great value for money without compromising on good quality.
We are returning again to stay there in July-August 2013.

Let it be known that the "illegal disco" music you heard during your stay must have been from the building right beside ours when they threw a party on their rooftop. Unfortunately, we do not have any control over that; but, apologies, nonetheless. With regard to our staff and our amenities, we will look into them and rest assured your sentiments will be discussed during our staff meeting.

good city suites in downtown Manila
Being "suites" there is no food offered in the place but several restaurants in the vicinity.
The suites range from 2100 P/night to 2800 P/night. The penthouse is more suitable for bigger groups, can sleep up to 15 people. There are a few studios (room with separate bathroom) in the ground floor for 1500 P/night
Many arab people go there and it is often booked out. Therefore it is strongly advisable to book beforehand by telephone. Their website is not updated and phone-number, which is on the net, is obsolete (not working anymore). The numbers now are as follows: (+63) 2 54 79 81 and (+63) 91 52 08 73 99
negative:
- The lift is very old with doors quickly opening and closing (they want to renew it now)
- all ACs are not split and quite noisy
- both the main staircase (around the lift) and the emergency staircase (outside the building) are used to store old tv's, fridges, furniture, windows and beds. In case of fire this would be dangerous.

We would like to let you know that our elevator has been upgraded and we've started decluttering our staircases. As for our website, we'll have someone look into that immediately.

Decent for the area
Overall pretty decent for the price and for a short stay. Have heard from others it's dodgy but seemed fine, although better lighting would help. Paid same price at a backpackers for smaller room with nothing apart from the bed, this way you get a slightly more than an average hotel room.
