It’s the perfect hotel when visiting downtown Enschede and for the people who can travel easy by train I would advise due to the location directly next to the Enschede train station.
The hotel has a good breakfast what you can add to your stay, however, walking outside the hotel there is also a bagel shop.
Parking is limited in the parking garage and advise is to reserve a spot.

Great hotel in Enschede with a few small disappointments.
The location of the hotel in Enschede was great. Super convenient to the train station and the city center. The hotel atmosphere was friendly, bright and clean. Quiet most of the time we were there. We had two adjoining rooms which were a good size and had large windows. Bike rentals were easy. We paid for breakfast each morning and that was so nice. Coffee and a European-style buffet. The same every day and after a few mornings it was getting tiring. But that was our preference. The food was fresh and delicious. It was nice that there was parking for us under the hotel but I did not receive the super important instructions on HOW to get to the correct location and HOW to park. It is complicated that first time. But, once mastered, parking was safe and secure. Our room was on the top floor and as soon as we stepped off the elevator, there was a horrible smell in the hall. We thought this might be a one time thing. It smelled like broccoli, or cooked quinoa - maybe sewer? It was like that every time. We stayed for 7 days. Once in the room everything was fine and it smelled better. As mentioned before, we had adjoining rooms with my elderly mom who had a handicap room. This was so convenient except that the 2 adjoining doors were so heavy that my mom could not open them. Both my husband and I struggled. These doors had no option to prop them open so we could travel back and forth as they were so heavy. There was no easy way to get through and for my mom it was impossible. So that added a little extra stress as we were unable to easily get to her. The beds were OK, a little firm for me and the sheets were thin. No softness. Speaking of thin - the bath towels were paper thin. Small, and thin. They even had holes and threads. They were embroidered with the hotel logo, but were a joke. It's not a luxury hotel, but a nice, solid towel is one expectation I have. These were so thin and old. All of them. Our room and my Mom's room. That was a big dissappointment. I would stay again as the location, cleanliness, and the people far outweighed the smell and towels.

We advise all our guests to reserve a parkingspot before arrival so we send a roadmap how to find the parking. Due to several construction sites in Enschede this is quit difficult.
Due to fire regulations the doors are so heavy - we understand your stuggle but we can't change this.
The new towels arrived finally after ordering 6 months ago.
We hope to welcome you and your family again in our hotel.

The price-performance ratio is not right.
Central hotel, but the breakfast was not worth the price, and the rooms were not particularly clean either. The bathroom was particularly dirty in the corners. The towels were frayed. Breakfast was very basic; for the price, you usually get more. It would be better to look for a bakery around the corner or a nice place for breakfast.
For the price we booked, it is far too expensive.

Smoke smell in the room, beds VERY uncomfortable and worn out, breakfast horrible - not worth buying- only positive is that it is a nice location
