A wonderful place to stay!

This humble and simple hostel was excellent for our stay. The property is just in front of the peaceful lake. The staff was wonderful, friendly and very helpful. We enjoyed our two-night stay very much. Thank you!

We loved our stay, we recommend it!

It was a very nice stay, beautiful view of the lake and we see the super cute sunsets and the people are very friendly and the food excellent!! We are very satisfied with our stay and highly recommend it! Very good atmosphere

Magical relaxation stay with a very warm family!

I chose this place because you can see the sunset there. When I arrived I had a room right on the water! A dream!!! Open the door, three steps to the right and I was standing in the water! Both volcanoes can be seen from the water if you swim out a bit. The family is super nice and lovely,they organize a scooter,a massage,offer tours with a very professional guide and have a very varied menu - the food is very delicious and breakfast is included in the room rate. The sunsets are magical like the island. Bicycle rental, laundry service, a very idyllic quiet place to relax! I was there for 15 days and felt very comfortable! I would definitely come back!

Why Los Chocoyos is the perfect treat for your holiday or island adventure times!

My and my family just had the most spectacular Christmas eve on the lake at the Hospedaje los Chocoyos; the place offers all you need to rest and relax but without the busyness of the most crowded and touristy spots.
If you are looking for a clean, well organized establishment this little gem has it all, including a little restaurant for your included breakfast everyday.
Perfect for those ones looking for the original island's vibes!

Heaven on earth with the most amazing family ever!

Wow wow wow! I can’t find the right words to describe my experience at this hostel! It’s been more than amazing and exceeded all my expectations! The hostel is in the most amazing part of the island in my eyes and it’s right by the lake with a rope swing, sunsets and views are INCREDIBLE! The rooms are simple but super clean and cozy. But that’s just that, what made the experience exceptional was the family that runs the place! Wow! From the first second I arrived I felt like part of their family, everyone was SO SWEET and welcoming. Any question I had was answered with so much love and effort, the food the ladies make is sooo good too and super convenient to wake up, have breakfast and the best coffee on the island! Absolute gem this place! If I had the time, id have stayed for a month or longer, maybe forever I’ll be back, no doubt! 120% recommended!
