Charming, Algerian border, remote, sunrise,

Charming secluded camp. Pass through a lantern lit threshold to enter the camp proper. A line of amazigh made carpets and flanking lamps dictate a path through the sand, from entrance to the main tent, through the middle of the camp.
The hosts are a group of enigmatic amazigh-sahrawi.
We are received with tea as is custom.
The tents are spacious, ours comprised of 2 single beds and a queen sized double, 2 saucer armchairs and a semi detached room with compartmentalised toilet, showerroom and wash basin.

Disappointing

Camp not even in the dunes but on the outskirts. It takes an hour and a half on a camel to access it and the same for the return, which is far too long.

Experience not to repeat.

It hasn't met our expectations. The photographs do not correspond by any means with reality. The food is very basic. Look for other options, spatially in winter because the stores are not prepared.

The most inhospitable y.ygar in my life

The description seemed a thousand and one nights a paradise in the desert but the reality was very different. Worst night of my life and on New Year's Eve. A nightmare in the desert

A good stay for a night. The tent had all amenities like a king size bed, hot water, charging outlets etc. A warning- no heater! The dinner was okay. Though despite telling them one guest was vegetarian, they still overlooked this and did not even offer alternatives, which is surprising, this being a luxury camp. Otherwise an okay experience.
