Brilliant find with views over the valleys at the base of the cedar forest

Wonderful situation, at the base of the mountain o/s Azrou, Morocco. Views over the countryside below. We had the family room which was a separate facility30ft from the hotel, all self contained. Greeted by Aziz a 22 years old from the Sudan, he spoke perfect English as well as other languages all self taught. Charming and helpful as was the chef who made it a personal point to speak to us and bid us goodbye. The room was well appointed and quiet. Kettle, fridge, TV and en suite. Breakfast standard continental, fresh bread, marmalade, fresh waffle and boiled egg. Met the owner a charming gentleman who made a point of speaking to us. A two night stay would have stayed longer but have the whole of Morocco to cover. Our best stay in Morocco
In the cellar in Carrefor at the northern entrance to the town you can buy beer wine, etc you enter a non descript door at the right hand side of the store to enter the cellar.T he fridge is cold enough to make ice.
Would definitely stay again. Beware when travelling south over the cedar forest, as you reach the summit there is a hidden camera where the speed drops to 60 for a brief few yards. Got stopped a mile down the road as did numerable other vehicles and was fined 150MD charming officers, all done with a smile.

Very nice address. Gorgeous.

Very beautiful guest farm with a beautiful view and very quiet. The meals are very well prepared and delicious. The pancakes for breakfast are delicious. The owners are really very nice. And a big thank you to the lady who makes the meals and breakfasts.
