One of the best trips I’ve ever been on.

I've been there for a week, but it looked like a month. Thanks to the free guided tours with Paty (from Marco Polo hostel) we have seen everyday diferent spectaular sights in Malta and I've met wonderful people from all over the World. I had such a brilliant time (even if I'd reccomend staying at Marco Polo hostel 'cause it's closer to the nightclubs and the vibes are amazing). Pack some comfortable shoes and leave the shyness at home: Malta is a whole other World, I'll come back one day! ❤️

The location is good and an easy walk to Spinola and Balluta Bay, and close to bus routes. There are some shops nearby too, like Spar. It was quiet too compared to other parts of St Julian’s like Paceville. The staff were friendly on check-in. Roof terrace has nice spaces to chill out.
It would be better if each bed had a small privacy light, like in other hostels, to avoid the big light. Your clean linen seems also to be in the locker, whereas the former guest’s bedding was still on yours when I arrived. The room also isn’t locked and the main entrance was open quite a lot so, while I didn’t have any issues, it seems possibly less secure than other hostels. Door to the room very creaky and loud, mattress springy, jacuzzi broken, and no outdoor pool as described. Also received random email saying I hadn’t paid when I had already so had to ask hotels.com to sort, and city tax was treble what it said on my booking (but still not a lot)

Quaint Little Hostel

Location is good, atmosphere is pretty chill, price range is good, vending machine prices are decent. Bedrooms are quaint, decoration in the lounge and rooms is very homey.

Great value for the price

Very good location. Near the sea restaurants bars and some attractions.
The staff is very friendly especially de boy at the reception.
Very nice roof top terrace with a nice view.

Humidity - the rooms are extremely humid I tried to keep the windows opened to let the fresh air in and vent the room but other guests would close it - if you have asthma problem it can be issue.
There are different guests staying there - some people stay there for long time and they feel very entitled luckily the boy working at the reception takes his job seriously and he spoke with guys who’d organize parties while night long in the common area.
The room on the first floor is very poorly noise isolated and you can hear everything from the common area.
Sofa ️ in common area need very serious cleaning.

Scam Bookings and totally unsafe for females

Absolute scammed and very unsafe for females
Males were making lots of misogynistic comments and pleasuring themselves in front of young females
