Good location for sights but busy nightlife
As others have mentioned, it is located on a lively side street with busy bars open until very later/early morning.
Initially we thought it would be a major problem to sleep but we had no problem. If we woke during the night (not unusual) we could hear the singing and laughing, but still went back to sleep.
We were on the first floor, just above the heads of the revellers on the narrow street.
Check in is a self-service machine in the hallway, you input your reservation number and then scan in your passport. A key card is then issued to you.
I can imagine some would find it frustrating if arriving late and tired or maybe my older parents.
The room was good, decent size for an old town hotel in Europe. And the bathroom was clean with an excellent shower.
Breakfast was a simple buffet, the usual continental style, bread, cold cuts, fruits and veg. Also yogurt, cereal and pastries.
Coffee from an automatic machine and also eggs cooked to order.
Simple but adequate.
The only staff we encountered were the helpful breakfast staff.
Now, it was somewhat difficult to locate the door on the busy narrow street with the bar tables and customers congregated around as we approached from the upper side, as the sign was obscured by the neighbouring bar sign.
Only once we passed it and looked back up we saw the sign clearly.
A minor issue but frustrating when your GPS says you have arrived!

Avoid if you actually want to sleep
There's a nightclub directly underneath the hotel and the music is insanely loud. Not "a bit noisy" loud. The bass is so powerful that the doors rattle, the walls vibrate and you can actually feel it through the bed. Earplugs are completely useless because the problem isn't just the sound, it's the vibration.
We were travelling as a group of six and had three separate rooms. Every single room had the same issue. It wasn't just us being sensitive to noise either. At breakfast, the music was one of the main topics people were talking about.
The hotel wouldn't refund us, which we accepted because the booking policy was clear. But the noise was so bad that we paid for another place to stay and moved out anyway.
One person in our group even tried speaking to the club manager. It achieved absolutely nothing.
The kicker? We later found out the hotel and nightclub have the same owner. Suddenly the reception staff acting like there was nothing they could do about it made a lot more sense.
If you're after a holiday that involves sleep, look elsewhere.
