At least it's clean, in terms of cleaning. But not in terms of long-term tear-and-wear and stuff that would benefit from renewal.
I find it so weird that a hotel must have TV but not shower gel : ]] If you don't have toothpaste and shower gel, at least write it in the hotel details. But "of course" then it only makes sense that you'll sell them on the side.
Note that the area is nice because it is almost rural but still only 15 minutes on foot from the tourist centre - but yes, it is in a too quiet and rather isolated small neighborhood.
The most serious complain, though, is that the whole time there is constant noise of water running through pipes (what even is that thing?) and some engine noise, maybe from some aircon maybe something else. These noises continue throughout the night.

Air-conditioned bit ok...not much shops near the hotel...The staff was really dissapointed us when check in..

I would not recommend to stay in this hotel. This the worst hotel ever I have experienced.

The frontdesk staff especially Selvam was very accomodating and also generous with the bottled water giveaways. The room was clean and the AC was freeeeezing just like a Proton Automobile.
Don't expect 5 star facilities as this is obviously a budget hotel and you'll be fine.
The bathroom could use a tune up as some of the equipment inside were reaching their end-of-life.
Would come back again.
