Nice and calm place

the hotel has a nice location (you can reach it by foot just from a ferry) and nice territory around. Beach quite close so you can walk through the forest.
You can rent a bike here to have a great Curonian Spit tour.
Meal are great here. Staff extremely friendly and helpful (even get us dinner after the kitchen closure).
Room maybe needs some renovation but still is ok.
Like it and recommend.

Traditional cold soup

The traditional cold soup was good although it was my second time to eat that in my life and the first time was years ago. I think it was good. Waitress was nice and service was good. We were on our way to see dolphins. Place looked old, but little style there were.

Excellent food

After arriving with the ferry past 2 PM we were desperate to find some place to eat until we found this hotel. The staff was very friendly and happily prepared us some delicious food. And although we didn't spend the night there, it wouldn't have minded.

Tiny but still cosy

We found Palva accidentally when looking for place to eat lunch. Restauran is in downstairs of little hotel, and place looks simple yet nice.
Service was friendly.
My main course was delivered before starter, and that brings my score of this place down. Food itself was ok, but nothing extraordinary.

simply relaxing, quiet and friendly atmosphere

we stayed here in June for 14 nights. we wrere amazed of friendly, warm atmosphere here, friendship and helpfulness of stuff,service and location. Fresh air , no cars, no noise of city hectic life. 200 metres walk to the beach, 5 min to ferry .Nice walk in the pine forest or go fishing or ride a bike if you wish too.
Especially very good kitchen.Our compliments to the chef.Deliciuos food, pretty good portions and realy realy tasty.We have tried all dishes in the menu and didn't f aind anything disapointing.And prices are very reasonable.Very good breakfast too, good selection of different salad, meet and hot food and variety every day .
Actually rooms and furniture are basic, some needs refurbishment,but cleanline you cannot fault it
It was best holiday ever and we coming back again in September.Thank you Valdas & Elena & all your team for ours very pleasant stay in Palva.

There are 2 ferry terminals in Klaipeda, the Old Ferry Terminal (Pilies str. 4, in the Cruise Ship Terminal) and the New Ferry Terminal (Nemuno str. 8). Only pedestrians can use the ferry from the Old Ferry Terminal. The hotel is 600 metres away from the Old Ferry landing in Smiltyne. Guests with cars have to use the New Ferry Terminal. Once in Smiltyne, follow directions to the Maritime Museum. The hotel is 3 km away.
