Central location, friendly staff, lovely room.

I had a large, clean and bright room which looked out over the square opposite and was beautifully furnished. Breakfast on the top floor had a very good cold selection with eggs cooked to order if you wanted them. The hotel is centrally located and ideal for seeking out the main sights on foot. There are many eateries around offering a wide range of cuisines. Friendly staff throughout added to the good feel of the hotel.

Super location right in old town centre.
Problems with our room. Had clearly booked 2 adults and 1 child 13 years. Came and found our room for 2 persons. Receptionist arranged a spare bed though the room was not for 3 and charging an extra fee of 25 eur for the bed. They forgot towels for the 3rd person.
I think had I known the handling of the situation and the total spending on the room including the extra fee that I would have chosen more wisely with my money and booked another hotel a little more expensive from the start.
The complementary drinks from the booking terms was not offered to us. It seemed like the booking platform and the hotel system did not line up really well hence our experience.
Breakfast was good and staff were nice.

Nothing special

Hotel is extremely inconsistent. Some staff are very friendly and helpful, while others desperately need to learn how to smile. Breakfast buffet was okay but nothing special. Location is fine for walking and restaurants once you're there but as a pedestrian only street, getting to it with luggage can be a hassle. It is more of a hassle because of being a cobblestone street and pulling suitcases from the nearest accessable drop off spot can be extra challenging. It often rains in Riga adding to the challenge. Rooms are adequate.

Regarding the location, our hotel is situated in the heart of Riga’s historic Old Town, which is one of the features that makes it so special. As with many historic city centers, some streets are pedestrianized and feature traditional cobblestones. While this can indeed make access with luggage less convenient, it also allows our guests to enjoy the unique atmosphere and architecture of the Old Town right outside the hotel.
We also appreciate your feedback regarding breakfast. We are constantly reviewing our selection and presentation to ensure that it meets the expectations of our guests.

Great Location in Riga

The hotel is extremely nice and the location is perfect for exploring Old Town Riga. Our room was exceptional and the staff was very friendly. Breakfast was great with plenty of selections. The only downside was parking. The hotel charges €35 per day to park in a nearby public garage. The same garage, if you pay yourself, is only €24…..so there’s an €11 per day upcharge if the hotel arranges parking for you. And also, there is a public lot around the corner that charges only €20. So beware if you are bringing a car!

We are sorry that the parking arrangements did not meet your expectations. Our €35 parking service includes the convenience of having the parking arranged through the hotel, assistance with access, and the possibility to use a secure underground garage located close to the hotel. We understand, however, that guests may prefer to arrange and pay for parking directly themselves, and there are indeed other public parking options in the area.
