teamLab

The project mapping at teamLab in Mifuneyama was very good. Probably the best in Japan. I need more than an hour to walk through Mifuneyama Park. Great.
The hot spring was also slippery and wonderful. On Saturdays and Sundays, the bus didn't run very well, and in the hot weather, taxis were used a lot, but the cost of taxis was not very high. It's hard to find restaurants and convenience stores, so it's better to eat at a hotel.

The view from the room is bad, hotel seems very old and not safe, we need to give them the key when we go out

Spend money to find fault

The plastic strips in the refrigerator were moldy and all turned black. It was very scary. The water pressure in the bathroom in the room was so low that I couldn't take a shower. It took a while for the toilet to flush because the water pressure was too low. I ignored the staff at all. , just said lightly that it was normal.

Just so so

Convenient Location. Close to famous histrical place of Onsen 100 years ago.
Also only 5minutes drive from main station.
But Onsen (Bath) is not worth traveling. There are only 2baths (indoor/outdoor)
then one is too hot and the other one is not hot enough.
They don't serve meals to rooms. You have to go to dinning room.
Severs are not professional. (a few were good but mostly not good)
We stayed 2nd floor. It was very noisy due to big noises from kitchen (maybe..)

Charming inn in Takeo

We were pleased with the night that we spent in the Kyotoya. The front desk and restaurant staff could not have been nicer. Although their English was limited and our Japanese even more so, they were welcoming and warm. The room was large with a lovely view and the futons were comfortable. The onsen in the hotel was beautiful - both inside and outside baths are available. The dinner and breakfast were delicious and the servers attentive. The lobby is full of interesting artifacts and the hotel is an easy 10 minute walk from the train station. Yes, the ryokan is old and the bathrooms could be updated, but it is clean, spacious and comfortable. We had no complaints and would stay again.
