Perfect place to stay to experience Bormio and surroundings!

This is a very nice apartment above the Bar Viola in Isolaccia, Valdidentro. The hospitaly of the hosts (two brothers) was perfect, we felt very welcome and they were super friendly and helpful. The apartment itself was big enough and had everything we needed. Our little boy had enough space to run around and he liked the little balcony the most. His (and our) bed was approved and we had good nights (the cycling probably also helped). Isolaccio is only 8km from Bormio and the start of the Selvio, surrounded by nice mountains and spectacular views. Be aware, however, that Casa Viola is located at a busy roundabout, meaning that it's not always so peaceful on the terrace and balcony. Sandwiches but especially the ice cream was very good! The Casa has no car parking itself but there are approx 6 spots next to the church, which were free most of the time and free of charge. There is a bike parking in the basement! The Lago di Cancano are close-by and highly recommended for a day trip!
The only two minor comments I would like to make is that (i) the floor of the apartment was very dirty when we arrived (previous guests had a dog?) and (ii) there are no curtains in the bedroom (which we could solve by hanging the big bath towels in front of the window).

Hotel molto curato, cortesia, cucina ottima

Mamma, papà e i due figli son di poche parole ma sono i fatti che contano:
- hotel molto curato e immerso nei fiori
- grande gentilezza
- grande pulizia
- cucina squisita (provare i maltagliati, lo spezzatino con polenta, la zuppa di orzo, la torta pere e cioccolato, quella di grano saraceno con marmellata di mirtilli) tutto fatto in casa. Ottima la coppa fatta da Paolo servita con lo spritz "viola"
- camera accogliente e funzionale (con cucina) con vista sulle montagne e la piazza del paese. Il letto molto comodo
- posizione ottima per le gite a Livigno 20km, bormio 4, Stelvio, passo del Bernina, Engadina...
Per i motociclisti come noi Paolo mette a disposizione un box coperto.
Ci rivedranno presto!

Ottimo b&b

Ottimo appartamento ordinato pulito confortevole caldo ottimo prezzo, comodo in centro paese vicino al supermercato parcheggi comodi ottima posizione Comodissimo per andare a sciare sci alpinismo 2020/21 per andare a Livigno
