The hotel is near the Vatican. Our room was very nice and had a patio with table and chairs which was quite unexpected. Breakfast was quite good with a variety of choices and great coffee. Staff was very helpful. Only drawback was hair dryer quite working.

Rude staff, room good
Our AC didn't work automatically for a single night of our stay — every night we had to call the front desk to get it started manually. On September 4th and 5th, the woman working the night shift at reception was extremely rude when we called to report the issue. She hung up on us and incorrectly insisted the problem was that our window was open. It wasn't — we checked, and even opened and closed the shutter multiple times trying to reset the system to prove it.
I've rarely encountered this level of hostility from hotel staff. Whatever's causing the AC to think a window is open isn't a guest problem, and blaming us for it — then hanging up — was unacceptable. Management should look into both the AC malfunction and how this staff member handles guest complaints.
That being said whoever cleaned our rooms was great. Really tidied up the place.

Affordable nice place when every other hotel in central Rome is absurdly overpriced. I had a good rate, and the room was modern and clean, more or less. My bed was one of those overly firm, cheap feeling mattresses. The shower had a significant amount of mold stains, and the shower door was falling apart almost. Water pressure not too good. Very small bath towels, and old and worn. They are not much bigger than a hand towel. Smaller towel I ever saw at a hotel.
The patio is a total delight to see theough the glass door. It must be nice to sit out there. Very attractive patio. With an amazing rolling metal door that can close to block out morning light and for safety.
The entire room is operated by well-working, modern switches. Excellent modern lighting.
A major downside is that the hotel is on the OTHER side of Saint Peter Basilica. There is no Metro there. There is another train line though, not sure how that train works though. The walk from the Basilica is not short, but not too bad. 20 minutes? You will likely have to take taxis or busses. Most people would probably not like walking to the hotel late at night.
But I was grateful for a decent clean modern place, priced at around €140. The savings were worth it to me.
The nighttime desk guy was AMAZINGLY HELPFUL. I forgot the gentleman's name though. He helped me figure out what to do regarding closed Trenitalia tracks causing crazy routes to Assisi. And he assisted me regarding rental car possibilities etc.

We were very pleased with our stay here. It was a great location--only a short 10-15 min. walk to the Vatican. The room was clean, though small, and the beds were comfortable. Our room had a view of St. Peter's from the balcony. The staff was very helpful with maps and information. They also called a taxi for us, and stored our luggage when we arrived too early for check-in. Breakfast was a buffet of fresh food, fruit, meat, eggs, yogurt, pastries, cereal, coffee and tea. Our tour booked us there at the beginning of our trip and we booked ourselves there again at the end.
