nice room

Very closed to the train station, in the main street of Riomaggiore. Room was cleaned and nice in a typical Riomaggiore building.
Reception office very attentive and professional, we could store our luggages after our check out time until we leave the town.

Unsatisfactory stay

I stayed with a friend of mine from 24 to 27 April. The 2 entrance doors were open 24 hours a day.. The shower hair dryer was broken, and you had to hold it in your hand to wash. Room with dust, cobwebs and adjoining spider. The mattress was soft, and you would get up with back pain, very dated room and there were electrical cables protruding from the sockets. The power has been cut several times, and from the contract you can not connect air conditioning or heating, otherwise they charge you 50€. In the room it was cold and we slept with 3 blankets that were in the closet. Bathroom without window, there is only the fan. Our room was number 31.
I don't recommend staying here.

Good location, decent facilities

We booked this place last minute and it was fine for that reason. Location and low cost was more important to us than staying somewhere fancy, so we made do! That being said, location is amazing! It only takes a few minutes to walk to the train and it's all beautiful views. Everything in Cinque Terre is hills and stairs, so keep that in mind. There are many great restaurants and bars all around that are open late, but it is still quiet. Riomaggiore doesn't have the best beach, so if that's important to you check elsewhere, or just get used to the short train ride! The room itself was clean and spacious but dimly lit and had little closet space. The bathroom was the worst part in my opinion as we had to share with another room and it would get dirty very quickly. However, cleaning service is available every day. The breakfast is average (hot coffee and pastries), it's in a dark room near reception so some days we preferred to buy elsewhere so we could sit outside. Wifi only available while standing outside reception. Staff was friendly and helpful! If we went back, we would look to stay elsewhere but would stay here if it was the only option!

Cute room and great location!

Our room was adorable and very clean. Our room had a pretty stone wall and wooden beams on the ceiling. Bathroom looked very new, as well. Great location - our room was right by the main office and breakfast. Breakfast was nice - not too many options but it worked. Staff was also extremely friendly! Room was a bit muggy/humid, but we slept fine (except be aware the town has a loud bell that goes off early in the morning - not the hotel's fault). It work us up both days at about 7 am. Our internet worked fine, except for an hour one of the days.

“Basic room - though all you need - in a Central old town location.

Great location in the old part of town, with long reception hours for travellers arriving late. Atmospheric building, though certainly nothing flash. Reasonable breakfast. Comfortable, clean, quiet room, though smallish and our loo was outside the room.
Difficult access with luggage, with winding stairs though town to get to the room.
