Characterized by light and shadow.
We had booked well in advance, a few months ago, by email exchange and direct telephone confirmation, so with all the confidence that the reservation was registered. The first telephone contact with the owner (presumably the father of the young man at reception) had been very friendly and reassuring.
However, at check-in, on July 3, we were told that the reservation was not showing up, and that there were difficulties in finding rooms. You can imagine the bewilderment after planning everything in time.
Fortunately, after a negotiation, the solution was found: instead of three single rooms, we were offered a single and a double, accommodation that we accepted, although not the one originally agreed.
I must say that the staff present in the following days proved very helpful and friendly, helping to make the atmosphere more relaxed despite the initial inconvenience.
Sore note: the price management. The single room was rightly counted at 65€ per night, as agreed. But the double cost us 115€ per night (230€ for two nights). A figure that left us puzzled, especially after checking on Booking that the same room, for the same dates and conditions, cost € 156 for two nights (without breakfast).
Considering that the double was a “fallback solution” for a mistake not ours, we would have expected a fair rate, perhaps aligned with the agreed cost for the individual, just as a gesture of attention to the customer.
From the point of view of the structure, nothing to say: good cleaning, simple but adequate breakfast, well-kept environments. The presence of a small spider in the room was negligible.
Conclusion:
I give 3 stars. The hotel has good potential, and certainly also courteous staff, but the management of problems should be improved, especially in compliance with the agreements made.
In the future I will return to Legnano, but I will carefully consider whether to stay here again, because a customer who patiently accepts an inconvenience should be respected and loyal, not penalized.
