Absolutely beautiful and elegant hotel

. The rooms are stunning — thoughtfully designed down to the last detail, and you can tell real care went into every space. What impressed us most was the service: truly impeccable. Housekeeping would refresh our room without us even noticing they'd been there — the staff is always attentive and one step ahead. Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back.

Florence, Italy Stay

Great location. Wonderful hotel, clean, neat, comfortable, nicely furnished and decorated. The hotel staff was always available to assist in any way. Everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful. Great choice as it is only a few minutes walk to most of the major attractions and many wonderful restaurants, eateries, and shops. Il Duomo is almost in your “backyard”.

The Ivy, but so much better

Fabulous rooms accompanied with fantastic food and service. Think of an improved updated The Ivy and you will be pleasantly impressed with the decor and standards. Great concierge service for advice on restaurants and entertainment. We booked the Golf Cart Tour via the Hotel and it was amazing!

The best hotel in Florence!

This is my favorite hotel! My husband and I met our daughter who was studying abroad and we stayed at La Gemma. Hotel is excellent, staff are all exceptionally friendly and helpful. Perfect location. Plus I love the style of this hotel. We will be back soon!

Top Notch Service at an Incredibly appointed hotel

We had a fantastic stay at La Gemma. The professionalism and kindness of the team -from the front desk to the housekeeping and concierge staff was world class and made a huge positive difference. The team noted we had an early departure and prepared breakfast boxes that were perfect to cap an excellent stay. Certainly a very nice gesture. Throughout our stay we felt at home and will for sure consider La Gemma as our only option for our next visit to Florence.
